ROSTER CHANGES (Promotions, Demotions, Awards, Positions, Joins, Parts)

This week sees some roster changes for both the good and bad. Psyko

Prefect and Death Knight were AWOL'd due to inactivity, but Guardian Ryo

has joined us! This leaves us with an impressive 19 members, but that

doesn't mean we quit recruiting! The Clan summit is planning a feud,

and I want us at full strength to take down our opponents.

Promotions this week include:

NOV Cespenar - ACO

GRD ReDNecK - JH

There's more coming to those who have earned them... ;)

No demotions... that's how it should always be, there is very rarely a

reason for this.

Now, onto position updates...

The following members were awarded the open positions in Galeres:

ACO call100 - Soulfire Sergeant

ACO Dagger - Shadow Warriors Sergeant

OBM Duo Chronos Sterling - Rollmaster

Just to recap the duties of these members...

Soulfire Sergeant - This member will be responsible for keeping all

newer members of the House active, leading them in battle against other

teams, and determining who is fit to join the Shadow Warriors.

Shadow Warriors Sergeat - This member will be responsible for leading

the more skilled battle team, teaching more advanced tactics, and

proving Galeres' might far and wide. They will most likely be the more

active team, as there will be less members to keep active. This person

must also coordinate efforts with the Soulfire sergeant, because they

will most likely be the more experienced member.

IMPORTANT Rollmaster: This member is responsible for keeping track

of Arcona Academy points. ALL submissions which count for Academy

points MUST be CC:'d to the Rollmaster to count. These points have a

fair bit to do with promotions... as always, however, exceptions are

made for certain cases (special incidents dealt with by the QUA).

Now, on to more business...

First off, the clan comp - Fear of the Void Below. I want to see a lot

more out of you guys - if it suits you at all, use this list to send

back and forth lists of times people can be on to JK. I would like each

and every one of you to come out of this the better for it, but that

only happens with activity. That's not to say I'm not pleased with the

activity level already, but the more the merrier, and we still have some

relatively inactive members. Let's see if we can't get everyone to

active... what a goal. ;)

Web pages - The House and both Battle Teams now need web pages. If no

one comes forward soon with some kind of basic layout, you'll be forced

to live with my HTML... a few people have mentioned skills, but I'd like

something hard to look at. I can always whine for changes later, just

gimme something flasy to see. ;)

Skinning and such - JH Cyris has said he will design skins for the

House. I find this absolutely amazing, and have to commend what I've

seen so far. If anyone else has similiar snazzy abilities, please let

me know.

Also, a note on the Battle Teams - these little units are now the heart

and soul of the Brotherhood. I expect to hear from the leaders

frequently on the status of their team, and what they're doing to

promote activity. You guys are now like miniature Houses of your own in

some ways, so be sure to be keeping things flowing smoothly.

And now, AED ReDNecK's report...

Hail Galeres, Hail Arcona

Yes, as you feared this is indeed the Aedile report of the feared DJK

JeD I. ReDNecK. Being that this is my first such venture, I ask you all

to bear with me. It is my hope that I will make these more informative

and professional with each attempt. So Here goes.

My first report as AED has the priviledge to note that we have MANY new

members in Galeres. I myself am one of them as are Cyris, Dagger,

Kal'eeste, Call100, Domri Yapor, and MANY others. I hope you all welcome

these new additions as I do. We have added not only elite warriors but

slicers with skills possessed by no one else in the Dark Brotherhood at

this time. Again this is a coup for Galeres and something we should all

take pride in. New members however do leave me and the others of the

House and Clan summits wanting even more. I encourage, NO Challenge you

all to try to be watchful of new names in our DB channels or even on the

DB server. Anyone of them is potentially a new and valuable member of

the fastest growing MOST powerful Obelisk house in existence right now.

Sometimes all it takes is being the one person in IRC that said hello to

them and offers to help them with stuff. In short, try your best to

recruit and we will all reap the benefits.

Fear of the Void Below has a significant amount of time left in it. Get

your submissions in now or as a group but be mindful of the deadline and

good luck to all of you. I will be more than happy to assist in arrange

comp qualified matches on my server if need be so please contact me with

any request or needs. And while I dont mean to harp, the ProConsul has

done a LOT of work on this competition, so please honor him by

participating in even just one event. I know RL issues press for all of

us, but if you can find the time, I know that Khobai appreciates each

and every submission.

Next! Project Thallium... This is very important right now and I ask ALL

of the Battle Team leaders to review their responsibilities and try to

learn and use them (these can be viewed in the Shadow Compendium). The

team leader spot should be, and NOW is a real leadership position. Don't

loose the fun you have, but don't let down those that are now looking to

YOU for leadership. If you have ANY problems, again, feel free to

contact me. I would also like to see the either recommendations or

appointments, depending on how Mage would like it done, for your

corporals as soon as possible.

I guess this is starting to get long so I will close by saying that if

you have any problem that you cant solve, PLEASE feel free to ask me. If

I can't help, I have a knack for finding out who can, and it's exactly

what I am here for.
