Ok, I was really at a loss for what to say, considering I just got QUA about 10 minutes ago and our PCON said I needed to get my report into him! :P Talk about a task master!

Zilly's Thoughts

Firstly, thank all of you for showing your support on the mailing list. It is because of all of Aleemas support and suggestion that I have become QUA. I have been thinking about what Aleema needs for several weeks and I want to outline my thought and ideas for Aleema right now.

I have seen activity and enthusiasm for Aleema slowly dieing and many members have left to go Sith. I want to know what members want!! I have given Deus until Thurs. to come up with competition ideas ... ANY ideas that members have, email them to us ... we want fresh ideas AND we want to know what it is YOU enjoy doing!

Next, I have reopened Spirit's of the Night. With the new Thallium rules, it seemed like the best option. We need competition between phyles in order to spur growth in my opinion. I want both TET's to give me at least ONE idea for a competition for the phyle's by Thurs. If I do not recieve information from the TET's, you will be replaced--Thallium puts added responsibility on the TET's, I expect weekly reports due Wed.; I hope there are no hard feeling with these rules, but when the chain of command becomes lax, the DB system does not work and inactivity occur!. The ONE thing that I will refuse to put up in the house is inactivity! Before you think I am crazy and the power has gone to my head, let me say this. Activity includes, IRC, AIM, the House and Clan list, activity on any DB related MBs, any DB competition, submitting to the DV (there are many ways in which to be active, I do not see this as being harsh)!!

Lastly, when I first joined Aleema, the two things that I really loved where the family like atmosphere and the fun activities. Aleema really cares about it's members ... for a brief time in our current history, there was some infighting. I want for differences to be settled and for us to try to return to the loving, caring Aleema we were when I first joined the house. FUN!! We need to have fun and do things members enjoy; we cannot do that unless MEMBERS tell us what they like to do ... hint, hint, hint It is time for your imput! This is your house, YOU will make it as fun or as boring as it will be. I know that we will be fun, prosperous, and successful, I hope that ALL our members believe this and participate!
