HOUSE ALEEMA REPORT - On this day of our Krath, the 8th of Eos, 2002 lightsiders eliminated.

That's right, sheath your wits and dull your senses, just sit back and let the report just wash over you. EVERY single paragraph will be important in this one, not only for Aleema and CSK, but for your own personal medal/promotion opportunities. Because we've got a lot of them this week.

FIRST! Extra, extra, Clan Satal Keto defends its honor and rather impressive clan standings against the rising Clan Scholae Palatinae!

Alright, guys, this is it. This isn't about playing around with our own stories, we're competing against an extremely determined opponent now. We're going to start it off for our clan, we HAVE to make a strong showing and give our Sith and Obbie a good foundation.

We must draw first blood. I'll be sending out a separate e-mail DIRECTLY concerning the feud either tonight or tomorrow, as it's really obvious Krath didn't come up with this, and thus might be a bit confusing to some. But for now, browse the site, get an idea of what you'll be doing, since it officially starts today.

SECOND! We don't like to space things out very much. The same week of the Feud, a competition is being reviewed for this Wednesday, which will last from the 10th to the 17th. It will be Aleema-only, and attempt to teach you all a lesson in brevity. Long essays and stories are good, but the ability

to write a strong, consice short story with meaning is invaluable.

It will be 500 words long maximum, more details will be released on Wednesday if it is approved.

NOTE: Those who complete both the Clan Feud comp AND the House comp in that week will be placed in extremely high standing in the eyes of Ziltopia and myself. Those who compete in the Feud alone will also be held in high

regard, but not as much as the former. The rest... watch your backs. :P

THIRD! Bleh, these caps and exclamation points are getting annoying, but ah well. That's about it for now, this is more of a red alert status e-mail than a weekly report, but I want you all to be on your guard and ready to kick ass. This isn't the GJW, but it's close. How we perform here may be how we perform when the GJW arrives.

FOURTH! Individual recognition.

• Huge congrats to Jedi Hunter Pendragon's work on the Aleema Site once again, as our site gained the highest possible rating in Krath High Priestess Mairin's checklist.

• Welcome to our new members who Drako already got to welcome before me! Grr. Anyway, guys, feel free to reply to these posts, etc, we like to joke around whenever we're not rocking the casbah. Drinks are on you, BTW. :P

• Belated congratulations to Kali Lilith Vairocana on her promotion to Protector AND being awarded the Star of Eos. We attract the best Krath, it's true. :P

• Also, all our best wishes to KP Ziltopia as she recovers from her illness (damn Taco Bell), and that she'll be back with us soon to help us in the Feud.

P.S. The blue rubber ball which I was bouncing against the wall last report... now has a slight gouge in it, from a protruding nail which actually pinned it to the wall at first. Though I used all the dark jedi powers at my disposal, I couldn't remove the ball without the gouge being there. 'tis a sad, sad day
