 <p class="report">It was a quiet night in the halls of House Acclivis Draco, save for in the meeting hall of the Ebon Cloak Phyle...</p>

 <p class="report">"My Tyros!  The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated!"</p>

 <p class="report">J'Lek chuckled as he entered the hall, swiftly proceeding to his customary position at the dais.  "Let's have a good time this night, shall we?   Adian, if you would, please step forward."</p>

 <p class="report">"Adian, it has been my pleasure to observe your start in the Brotherhood, and I must congratulate you as you complete your first major milestone with our House.  For completing the requirements of the Ebon Cloak Training Program, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Acolyte and accorded the robes, rights, and privileges appropriate to your new rank.  Set an example for the other Novices to follow."</p>

 <p class="report">"And, of course, what would a promotion be without the traditional phyle party?  The House's culinary staff has outdone itself yet again, so please help yourself after this meeting."</p>

 <p class="report">The Dark Adept smiled.  "I'd like to welcome a new face into our ranks. Novice Locke, I trust that you will make yourself at home in our corner of the Brotherhood.  If you need any assistance with your training, don't hesitate to ask questions."</p>

 <p class="report">The Tetrarch's face shifted into a serious expression.  "If anyone has any questions or comments about the Training Program or anything else in regards to House life, please, please, please make use of the Phyle's Message Board. It has been...rather quiet.  Please make use of it."</p>

 <p class="report">"Remember, there's a Feud in progress as we speak.  Still, I want everyone to be thinking about their submission for the Phyle competition once it restarts.  The competition details are on the Phyle's holosite."</p>

 <p class="report">The Tetrarch bowed.  "Now, enjoy your evening."</p>

 <p class="report">As the Tetrarch stepped off the dais, Protector Tirna Q'jira, Dark Hand of the Ebon Cloak Phyle, stepped forward from her place within the shadows, the rustle of paper her only announcement as several swift and silent strides carried her to the forefront.</p>

 <p class="report">"Tyros of Ebon Cloak," she called attention to herself as she laid the papers on their appropriate stand, "I have a few things I would like to add, with my Master's permission," she announced, glancing towards J'Lek for a brief moment to gain a nod of approval before moving on.</p>

 <p class="report">"I, also, would like to congratulate Adian on his promotion to Acolyte. It is my hope that you continue steadily on your path to greatness." She took a momentary glance down at her papers. "But moving on to more serious matters I would like to place the following addendum on the feud: active participation in the feud will count as credit towards a Tetrarch's Task. I believe J'Lek has mention of this before, but I feel it needs to be brought up again. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to approach us. A fair number of you are new here, and we cannot help you if we don't know you need help, so be sure to ask if you have questions."</p>

 <p class="report">She rustled her papers, moving to a new page. "The Phyle holosite has been updated as well, and the roster is now fixed. I apologize for not updating it sooner." The Protector let her violet-grey eyes sweep the small crowd and the various new faces. "To those of you who are new to this Phyle--Novice Deirdre Varn and Novice Locke--I bid you welcome and success in your venture in this Phyle and our House."</p>

 <p class="report">She moved on to the next page of her report. "It would be appreciated if everyone ran a check to make sure they are properly subscribed to the Phyle list, as some have reported problems. Also, it would be appreciated if everyone could send an email to the list at least once a month to let us know you have not gone absent without leave. Thank you."</p>

 <p class="report">"Moving on, I want everyone to create an account on our message boards. We have worked hard to create a place where everyone can ask questions, get to know each other, and generally socialize. And we have put our own credits towards funding the absence of Imperial advertisement upon it. It would be appreciated if you showed us your gratitude," she voiced herself with the slightest rumbling of dark suggestion.</p>

 <p class="report">"On two final notes," she continued after letting a moment of heavy silence settle upon the room, "a link to the House Competitions holosite has been provided under the "Affiliates" section of the Ebon Cloak holosite. Also, medals will be awarded for those who place in the current Phyle competition, as well as the to the one who wins. As my Master said before, details can be found on the Phyle's holosite."</p>

 <p class="report">She gathered her papers together, preparing to leave the dais. "I want you all to know that I am here as a guide. I am the Dark Hand, second in command to the Tetrarch, but I also intend to be your friend--" her lips curled upwards in an ironic smile "--or as close to a friend as any Dark Jedi can come." She slowly slipped down off the dais. "Enjoy your evening, Tyros of Ebon Cloak, and get plenty of sleep. You'll need it." She smiled mysteriously before slipping off and mingling into the crowd before any questions could be asked.</p>
