Commander’s Comments

Greetings Black Omega. I want to apologize for my lack of availability this past week or so. I’ve been dealing with preparing for a major move to Kansas City and finishing all of my duties with my RL job at Xbox before I move. This report will comprise activity and information from the past two weeks so that I can be sure everyone has the correct information. Next week I will be on and off mIRC, but will continue checking my email regularly. On 8/29/02 is when I will be officially disconnecting my computer and loading up the moving truck. Sometime on the afternoon of 8/30/02 the new cable company will install my new connection so that I can once again be online. I’m looking forward to this move with great excitement knowing that a 3 MB/sec Cable connection awaits me! J

As soon as my move is completed and I’m fully settled in to my new home I will be putting together a series of competitions for the Battleteam. I expect every pilot to prepare to be competitive and active for these competitions, otherwise you’ll have to deal with the wrath of this SBM! :P

Weekly News

1.Four members of Black Omega have been removed due to being inactive and failing to maintain communication. We are now down to 8 pilots, so recruiting is a major focus!

2.ACO Tissaya Argat has been promoted to the rank of Protector! It just goes to show that steady activity and dedication will allow you to move up the ranks effectively!

3.The AED has resigned! No word yet on who the new AED will be, but I’m expecting everyone in Black Omega to provide the new AED their full support!

4.Sith Squadron League Season 1 has begun! You can find the full details at http://members.aol.com/hades55624/main.htm

5.CoF’s are no longer awarded for any matches DB pilots fly during scheduled TC MP events. DB pilots will only receive CoF’s for matches they win during designated DB MP events!

6.A new Sith CORE Course will be released very soon, if it hasn’t been already. Just for kicks I’d like to request that everyone in Black Omega take the course when it releases just to get a better feel for what is expected of all pilots in the Sith Order!

7.House Ronin has a new Free Mission Competition! Fly TIE-Free #2; XvT-Free #2; and/or XWA-Free #2. Submit all pilot files to the QUA before Sept. 17th! This time the QUA will also announce which Battleteam is the “Best of House Ronin!” So Black Omega, get busy and get flying!!

8.House Ronin’s Boot Camp has begun! JH Sarin is providing weekly training on Friday nights from 6 PM to 9 PM EST in the #Alvaak channel on mIRC!

Squadron CMDR’s Expectations

1.All pilots are to report in each week.

2.All pilots are required to dress in the required duty robes at all times while on duty.

3.All pilots will stay active through SP and/or MP activity, posting on Message Boards, completing SA Courses, etc.

4.All pilots will be evaluated on their performance over the next two weeks in order to determine criteria for future promotions and awards. FL’s will assist with supplying recommendations and information relating to recent activity on each FM.
