A difficult week to say the least, going back to schools kinda cut off my online time dramatically, I should adjust back to it in a week or two, i'll be a lot better this week, but it may take a couple to get used to things again...

Following the AWOL Check I'm hoping to see a LOT of competitions. And by that, well, I'll explain later. Activity does seem better than was, though thats clearly for its just looking better when putting it in perspective of a ration of actve : inactive, but its still going to need a lot of work...hence the Clan Review is going to begin work this week...

Proconsul

As I detailed in my email earlier today, there will not be a Proconsul at the moment. The necessity for one is not there, therefore I'm not going to appoint one for some time, a month minimum, unless of course anything dramatic occurs. And that, as they say, is that. Proconsul for the time being can be considered, inactive and closed. I will NOT be taking further applications, I thank those who applied, there are a lot of good people there, but in light of events this week, I'm not going to appoint one. Leading me on to my next point...

Lord Primus of the Black Guard

With no Proconsul, we have no Primus at the moment. Typical system is to appoint a patrician as the Lord Primus, not necessarily needing to be the Proconsul, but it does make sense to be so. In light of this, I'm going to need a Primus, as a result it is OPEN to applications:

Requirements - Mandatory

High online IRC activity.

24hr email response time.

Skilled in Order's area.

Organizational abilities.

Rank of Guardian or higher.

Requirements - Preferable

Daily IRC activity of at least a few hours.

Rank of Knight or higher.

Skilled in all three Order's areas.

Past experience, or current position of Aedile, Battleteam Leader or Quaestor.

As before with Proconsul, I need EVIDENCE of your meeting the criteria, simply going "I was QUA" won't work, I need to know you were a good QUA etc.

Theres no deadline, I'll appoint a Primus when i find somebody decent for the job.

Clan Website

Unfortunately this seems to have been turned into a total revamp :P So it may take a bit longer than I was hoping, still, we've got the current site to provide info for people, and websites are not the be all and end all of things.

Clan AWOL Check

The check is done, we've lost 40 or so people, EVERYONE is now expected to be active, I'll be talking to the Quaestors soon about a continual AWOL Check...basically, if you've not been heard of for 4 weeks, you're out. No ifs and, or buts. Goodbye, like that. We're not tolerating inactivity anymore.

Clan Review

Alright, review time like I said earlier on...I'm not entirely sure where to start with this, so I'll be working from the top down. Mainly for it should be easier that way, otherwise going from the bottom up it'll never end. As a result, Battleteams are...lucky and will get some time to hold onto their jobs and pray they impress me before I finish with the House Summits. The review is structured into the following parts:

Battleteam Leaders

As is clear, we've done Proconsul already. Next i'm going to look at the QUAs, this may, as I've made clear time and time again, range from promotion, medal awards to possible removal. We'll see...it depends what I think of once I look closely into the workings of each Quaestor.

It won't take a week to do QUAs and AEDs, so by this time next week Battleteams will be coming under full inspection, so I make clear again:

I EXPECT ALL REPORTS ON MY DESK ON THE DAYS SPECIFIED.

Some members are ALREADY starting to knock up strikes against their names, do you really wish this to continue? I WILL fire any and all people who fail to do their jobs. If you can't do your job, resign, its better than being fired, as believe me, I will not be pleasant when i fire somebody for inactivity, an inactive leader is worse than an AWOL member, and I've already shown my complete lack of sympathy for such people, I do not want to have to start being more angry...

Clan Feud with Alvaak

We may have a feud with Alvaak sometime before the GJW, depends on when the GJW is and whether or not we've finsihed our review. Regardless....it will be sometime by Christmas.

House News Foreword

Not much to say, other than to direct everyone to my rant earlier about reports, QUAs and AEDs are capable, Battleteam leaders don't seem to be, remember that...

All I have to say is,

Quaestors, please start keeping track of which Battleteam leaders are submitted reports, and tack it onto the end of your report somewhere. Mainly so we can keep track of the striking policy, as I said before and will reiterate, three strikes and you're gone.

As for House reports, well done to the Quaestors for the past fortnight, its good to see all the reports in on time for a couple fo weeks running :) Hopefully if the House Leadership keeps this up we'll be able to get some things going...

Comps There are still a lot of things to do:

Monthly Flying comp: Send all pilot files from SP missions you fly on the month to Janos Silverwulf and CC me.

Monthly Melee comp: If you fly a MP match against another member on HLK, remember to register the results on the MP ladder on Tactical Room - Level 02 of the Kressh Fortress.

Sith Squadron League: Details here.

On the Works First thing to get sorted now are the Squadrons. Emerald is going to be shut down again until there's enough people to reopen it.

As a second matter, the House Summit will start work on a new comp between the two squads and some "good ol' days" ideas will be implemented back. Just wait a little longer...

To the CMDRs: keep your eyes open for Goatham will launch some leadership testing on the Houses to see if the battleteams are functional, so you better check your duties again.

The Squads No reports came this week again, but Janos seemed to send the report from last week after mine. Remembering that according to the new standards for Battleteams, I think it's good for the squadrons to have a link to the Squadron webpage on future reports. If the squad don't have a webpage, fix one asap...

Also, remember to visit the Sith Order page in order to keep in touch with the last issues about squadron administration and points.

Closing Notes The people who are still on HLK must be conscious that this means you are the true warriors of the House, at least the ones who didn't quit until now. Being so, I must think you are here to work for the House and try to get us closest to our objective, being a whole unit with participation and fun as the first targets. Keep the good job and good things shall hit you in the head sooner or later...

#001 - Aedile With Raistlin moving on to Arcona we are now in need of an Aedile. I have made my decision and it is none other than Obelisk Battlemaster CrimsonAngel. I have high expectations from him and I know he will not let myself or the house down. So everyone give a big HPG congrats to Aedile CrimsonAngel! #002 - Sergeant With the resignation of Sylph as SGT of the Holy Sacrilege brigade we are also in need of a new SGT. I have decided that Jedi Hunter Blitz has proven himself worthy of this position and thus grant him the title of SGT. Congrats and hope to see great things from you. #003 - Proconsul The Clan is also in need of a new PCON. Its not going to be me, so everything will continue on like normal in HPG. Consul Goatham's choice is a good one and will indeed help the clan out. Soon as the Dark Council approves it, it will be announced. #004 - Master/Student Program With Raistlin leaving we also lost our head of this program. He had some fine ideas that I will hope to incorporate. So, for now, I will be in charge of this program and will be getting somethings going. Still looking for Masters and Students. HOUSE NEWS(Otherwise known as J`Rai's bitch and moan section):

Combat tournament started, everyone come out and watch the fights.

House Roster cut significantly. I want weekly updates from each

member of the house. Included in these emails are anything you are

working on, have done, participated in, talked about on IRC,

EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR THIS HOUSE must be included for you to get

credit for it and not AWOL'd. Consider this a final warning. Anyone

who does not do anything, or submit anything to me, will be AWOL'd.

I hate doing it as most of you know, but there are times when I have

no other alternative.

Figaro, I want you to start doing weekly reports. This is the last

time I'm gonna say this. I need to know what you're doing to make

sure each of your phyle members are active. Include the weekly

progress reports stated above. Email each individual in your phyle

or else I'm gonna have to ask for a new Night Hawk Tetrarch. I don't

want to do that b/c I know you're a good TET. Now prove me right.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT RECRUITMENT FOR NOW...OUR MAIN CONCERN IS GETTING

something similiar. It will be starting with the month of November,
