Clan Arcona Weekly News

• Qel-Droma currently have their Coat of Arms competition going, I am hoping all QD will try and contribute something.

• Envoys and/or House Historians, get your stuff to KP Paladorion ASAP so he can complete the Clanbook.

• An Arcona wide run-on has started on the Qel-Droma Message Board. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this story. It is called "Kill the Killers" and its located at http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=1169 . Any questions should go to KP Paladorion.

• The Sith Squadron Wars Round 3 has ended. Oriens Obscurums Battle Team fought their way to a amazing place as a group winner! They will now face another group winner in a race to become best Squadron of the Sith Order....I think. Congrats and thank you all who participated so far!

• A new Clan Competition will be held after all current House comps have ended, for now its scheduled to begin September 30th, unless a GJW begins at that time. Details will be released at the competitions start.

House Oriens Obscurum Report

A normal week around here. Big news is the implementation of the AGE programs. Basically, anything that you do that is DB-related will be put towards points, which will then allow you to receive rewards. All CMDR's, please keep an activity list of what your pilots do, and pilot, you too should keep a list to be on the safe side. Anything from flying MP to submitting for the Dark Voice shall be counted.

Now, unto some of the updates.

• We had three promotions this week. Congratulations go to the newly promoted JH Nurel 'Sako' Turr, GRD Philo and PRT Narcissus! Great job guys, and keep it up!

• GRD Philo has been awarded a Crescent w/ Diamond Star and Amethyst Star

• JH Nurel Turr has passed the ESET and ISET Sith courses!

• PCON Mage has released a few mini-competitions. Check the competitions section for full details.

• I have sent in the submissions I received for the last SSL round. I am quite disappointed with Apocalypse squadron who didn't submit this round. Good job to Pandragon for getting in 5 submissions.

House Qel-Droma Report

This past week, the following members of this House have be given various awards:

DJK Leara- Dark Cross, Crescent w/Sapphire Star, Crescent w/Amethyst star

   Now, guess what the common link is between all of them? That's right, they participated in the feud. Counting myself, only 8 people participated in the feud. That is completely unacceptable!!!!  

   ALL I have ever asked is that you participate as much as possible. Granted, a few people had computer problems, but I know not everyone did. You had roughly 4 weeks (a whole month!!) to write at least one entry and submit it. None of it was that hard and even if you think your entries are crap, send them anyway. True story: There was a poem I submitted to a vendetta a long time ago. I thought it was crap, mediocre at best. However, I won 2nd place. I still have the poem and the Silver Nova to prove it.  

   Now, I missed half the feud, but I still submitted four entries, one for each Krath event. Now, what is so hard about sitting down and writing something with realtively easy minimum requirements??  

   At one time, Qel-Droma was the pinnacle of Clan Arcona. Oriens and Galeres helped, but it was Qel-Droma who helped win many events for the Clan. Qel-Droma led this Clan then and it should do so now. Instead, the House made the Clan lose quite a bit of points in the end.  

   So, to answer your question that you are probably asking yourself: yes, I am EXTREMELY angry at the people in this House who sat on their rears and did nothing.  

   We are to have fun. The easiest way to do that is to participate and win. IF losing is fun to you, go to another House, but don't stay in Qel-Droma. In order to succeed, you must try. If you try, then you can win.  

   Now, there are several competitions coming up, as soon as I can get the DGM to approve them. I want EVERYONE to participate, regardless of whether or not you participated in the feud. The Clan Summits will know who does what (it's part of the AGE program). This House needs to get off it's lazy rump and get moving, instead of relying on a few people each time. IT WON'T CUT IT, AND I WON'T ACCEPT IT!!

House Galeres Report

Aight, this is the day my report will be released weekly. So look forward to it... jyeah =P Pretty uneventful week, being as it was my first, it aint too bad. But before I get into my report for the week, im gonna introduce you guys to a little something I started in HPG

it's called: drumroll please

RAIST'S RL LIFE!!!! WOOT!!!!

This is the section where you guys get to laugh at the misfortunes that occur to me in RL on a weekly basis.

Lemme see, I lost a 400 dollar class-ring this week (im pissed) and to get my car fixed, I had to shell out 600 dollars for a stupid valve. So I basically lost a grand this week.... umm, girls suck, lol, and i went back to school. If it wasn't for the fact that i just got my new car head unit for dirt cheap, my week woulda totally sucked, but it didnt turn out too terrible =P

Aight, the report:

#1- AWOL Check. So far I have...... 6 replies. there's 10 days left. and I have 6 replies. 2 of them are me and Dagger. So that means that 4 members of this house are gonna be left after this AWOL Check. Greatt....... If you guys read this, reply ASAP. Emails go to me and dagger

#2- We have a website. It's on the DB page under the Galeres section. Updated that this week, it's pretty nice, I'm gonna be working on adding some content to that, so stay tuned.

#3- Brigades. I have no reports from my brigade leaders this week. One had an excuse. Which is understandable. The other hasn't emailed me. This is not acceptable. I place a heavy emphasis on battleteams, and my two BT leaders are gonna be the two most active people in this house next to me and Dags. So if that isn't the case, they're getting removed. Another thing. if you're in a BT, and you aren't active, you're most likely gonna get removed. BT's are only for people who are active and who wanna work.

#4- Me and Dags are working on a few projects. We're gonna finish this AWOL Check up, see where we're at with members, and restructure Galeres. From there, we can start doing things because right now, I don't know who's doing what. After the 17th, stay tuned for a in-house comp. It's gonna rock

#5- In and out. Well this week we said peace to Warrior, hi and bye and hi and bye again to both Destavol and Storm Shadow. Thanks for transferring when u didnt mean to. Everybody appreciates that. But whatever, peace to them, we dont need 'em =P

Im gonna be working on setting up and using the battleboard for the clan, even set up a ranking system and stuff, so stay tuned for that, but in the meantime, get to work on participating in weekly comps and kicking some ass in JK2
