Dark Greetings Brethren HAD,

**_Clan/House News:

**Consul Cuchulain Addresses IRC Conduct:_

"Unfortunately I am having to reiterate some rules about #CSP, set out while I was ProConsul under Maverick. These rules have gradually slipped away, with me being quite a culprit as well. Language in the Clan channel. I have received a handful of complaints about the general standard of language, and from now on no swearing will be tolerated. I shall be taking steps to have a bot installed in #CSP to drive these rules home, and I will be asking it's programmer to set the standards just a little bit higher than the average EH channel. The standard of conversation will remain as PG-13, but for a number of words (I am sure you can all use your imaginations as to what they are) you will get kicked without warning. This email acts as warning enough.

Some may complain that these standards I am setting are higher than is set out, but I am doing this to protect the general populace of the Clan. If anyone strongly disagrees with this ruling then I shall be happy to address any realistic queries you may have. If anyone has a VERY strongly disagrees then that's okay too. Just don't bother coming into #CSP.

Recently we had an ex-Clan member who came in and started swearing quite a bit (no, not you Mike :P ), and his ID will be sought out and will be passed on to the HCI type people so that he will be banned from as many EH channels as I can have them do."

**_Oathmaster Timbal Completes AWOL Check:

_**KP Timbal mailed me to say that the House AWOL check has been completed and we have 4 "could-be-chucked" members. Please look at the roster below and if you have any knowledgeon the current status of any of the 4 members then please let myself or Oathmaster Timbal know.

_Sorry about being so slack with the results. You'd have thought with so few they'd be out a lot sooner. Anywho, as there were so few I've decided that only the winners of each section should get awards. Congratulations go to DJK Titus of Acclivis Draco for winning the poetry section "The Hunger". And further congrats head off towards KP Korbane Ashoka of Qel-Droma for winning the fiction topic "The Thief".

Updated Dark Voice Information:

Greeting Dark Brothers and Sisters,

I am Korbane Ashoka now that Shadonyx has such a busy life he has asked I take over as editor of the Dark Voice. It is a very time consuming job but very much worth the effort. This month for Dark Voice #30 I have just finished inputting around 53 Dark Side Scrolls and 4 Dark Crosses for the outstanding submissions. We had an excellent turn out and I am very tired from doing all that reading and inputting of medals but I would LOVE to see more next DV. I just have a few requests and reminders for those submitting.

Be sure to include your DB DOSSIER #. I need this so I can just input your number and the medal instead of having to look up you number or name.

You do not include this and your submission will go to the DV but you may not get a medal!

Be sure to Included your DB # and IDLine INSIDE of any Stories you are submitting. This just makes it easier for me to track and not mix files and make sure YOU get the right award.
Be sure you ZIP all files and that Images are jpg or gif formats.
Make sure your images are creative and original, I had to delete a few things this month that Still had the www.starwars.com logo at the bottom that some tried to submit, if its not your work don't send it. If you graphically enhance a photo or something that is another story.

Well that is the only real requests I have for now. You may go ahead and begin submitting for Dark Voice #31. I do not have an official release date yet but I will soon. All submission are to be Sent to ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) with the subject Dark Voice #31.

_**Phyle Wars - Project Osiris Results:

**_I apologise for the delay in the medals/. Not only did I forget to check them, I then muddled up my reccomendations with the crescents. Here are the results:

1st Place - KP Timbal - Crescent with Sapphire Star Crescent

2nd Place - JH Aeishline Strathaven - Crescent with Emerald Star

3rd Place - PRT Ktulu - Crescent with Topaz Star

Additional Info:** **Aedile Loor is currently working on the next phase of the on-going Phyle Wars, but it won't be launched until after the House Feud with Ektrosis is finished.

_**Dark Allegiance:

**_Well it's coming into the last week of Phase 1 in the Dark Allegiance competition. It looks to me that the Phyles are organised and producing work which is both encouraging and settling! Please work as hard as you all can. not just for your own merits, but your Phyles and more importanly still, the House as a whole.

I would suggest that you get the compiled submissions into me a few days before the 5th, to save my heart and so you can start preperation for Phase 2. As soon as all Phyles have submitted their Intel Reports I will update the web-site with Phase 2 Information. Any major problems I see from Phase 1 will also be dealt with - ie, LACK OF PARTICIPATION!!!

_**House Run-On's:

**_It's bene brought to my attention taht we'll soon be strating House run-on's as part of teh KHP's plan to help enhance the RPG side of our Brotherhod characters. Also with the soon to be launched Krath Combat Centre (which I did the sweeeet layout for) these will be 2 new and exciting activities for Krath members to explore. More details as they come.....

_**Internal Phyle Competitions:

**_While the Dark Allegiance event takes priority above all others, there are also competition being run within your Phyle by your Tetrarch. These are a great way to earn yourself further medals and promotions - SO TAKE PART:

DF Phyle: There is a caption comp against Hex Phyle of Ektrosis running. All tyro's have been sent the images, and you've a few days (until the 30th!) to get those captions in!!! So take 5 minutes and submit.

_DG Phyle: _No competition running at present.

_EC Phyle: _The Phyle's monthly competition continues on. The deadline is September 30th (only a few days left!!!). The topic is Spectre of the Past. All submissions must be sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. More details at http://www.geocities.com/Ebon_Cloak_Phyle/.1

Reason for Award: Queastor's Thoughts: Khaen as served as Tetrarch of Drynwyn's Flame Phyle for several months now. He has created a truly elite Phyle, with an excellent membership and high quality workload being produced from them. Such long term dedication to the one unit and the benefits that HAD have reaped due to this unit have been great.

Consul's Thoughts: Being an ex-TET of DF, I'm very happy to see it has been lead to such strengths again. It's Elite Phyle statis means that all members will participate in 100% of comepitions and any member who fails to do so are removed. Under Khaen's excellent leadership it is thriving again, and members from all across the Clan are using his methods to enhance their own Battle Teams. His excallent sense of humour is second only to his professionalism, and if we could talk Ronin into paying us all, he'd be getting as much as me. Congratulations Khaen, and keep up the excellent work.

Reason for Award: _Queastor's Thoughts:_Loor has served as Aedile for many months, continually working hard for both Clan and House. He has submitted frequently in the KMT and also took part in the recent Clan Feud against CSK. He is loyal and hard working, consistently working productively with other summit members and the general membership of HAD. He has drawn up documents of protocol that will be used Clan wide and is currently in the middle of writing the next House wide competition.

Consul's Thoughts: Loor has been a cornerstone in HAD - our own Mr Reliable. It is the view of the Clan Summit (and the current QUA) that Loor will be the next QUA without any problems what-so-ever. I fully support this award... and more...

Conclusion:

Well, as per last week I'd like to urge you all on with the Dark Allegiance competition. The Tetrarches who have just joined seem to be getting things up and running. I am glad that promotions have been passed and awards given out to those who deserve them. I look forward to recieving the 3 Phyle submissions and then hearing from QUA Betja that we took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
