An extremely slow and quiet week for HPG. But the entire DB is in this state at the moment. Lots of stuff to do and despite the quietness I have seen some activity from a couple of you. I've been extremely lazy this week and for that I apologize. I'm going to catch my second wind and than do my best to get this party started.
Big Clan news this week. For our efforts in the Clan Feud; (which HPG clearly out did the other two houses) CNS has earned its first ever ship. Its a Muurian Transport and a think a CNS Road Trip is in our future.

On the CNS message board (http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?p=29502) our Kings of Tomorrow run-on has moved under a high priority for the house. While we are invading the HLK fortress; members of HLK will be trying to defend it. So go there and start posting, we must defeat them.

Obelisk High Command Competition
a) Some type of Armor- Some ideas already noted herein would be much less potent form of Mandalorian Armor, A device that triggers Nanites (sub atomic sized robots) that disperse and bond on a molecular level to form armor... These are NOT what you are restricted to simply ideas to move you along. Feel free to come up with your own unique idea so long as it is accompanied by a graphic (as these are prizes please really put yer all into the grapix)
b) Some form or Saber or Weapon appropriate to the Jedi Rank- For those of DJK or better it will be a saber given by me the OHC (sorta in the tradition of Samurai recieving Swords as gifts from their lords)... Below DJK is typically a board with various numbers of nails according to Epis Khobai but I think we could go with something like a Monofilament blade or some other nifty techno sword... I know a number of you seem worried that "custom" sabers are reserved for those of OWL? and above but providing only the ranks have changed and that the actual policiy noted in the darkside compendium is still in force, then there is nothing against a specially given saber so long as it is not "modified". I believe this modification they speak of is the fluctuating blade length saber. Then of course the double bladed saber for even higher. So dont worry.. These will be standard and appropriate to rank just Special Obelisk Tourney winner design is all with no funtionality modifications not appropriate to rank. Idealy.. this is in 4 seperate categories as you have the sub DJK Weapon, Standard Saber, Modified Saber, Dual Bladed Saber.. The Standard and Modified however can easily be the same design simply understanding the modified has the blade length variability function.
c) A grapic similar to a Trophy- This is the hardest category for me to define as Sharad gave me the idea but If I understood him, the concept involves a Unique Graphic for each Tourney. This is not required, but I think it would be great. For this reason, I am asking a set of 3 graphics rather than a single... the idea being a first, second, and yes.. a third place.
All Winners of each category (and each Weapon sub category) will recieve a Star of Eos, The two runners up will be awarded Dark Crosses (again same for EACH weapon sub category).
The deadline for submissions will be the 1st of October so get cracking and turn us out some great stuff!! After all, YOU may be the one winning it someday!
MASTER-STUDENT COMPETITION 3: "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!

This is the ultimate competition for Master-Student pairings. In this competition Masters and Students will have to work their way together through 7 tasks to win the competition, get nice medals and be listed as the best Master-Student Team in the DB!
This first DB-wide MS competition unfortunately only features Krath events but all Orders are invited to have their teams sign up and to participate, so you Obelisk and Sith teams can get the chance to show that you can beat the Krath on their own territory. The next DB-wide competition will cater for all Clans and teams will be able to gain points in all DB aspects.

Introduction
The raid had begun, CrimsonAngel secretly with Fred the Seal, had invaded the HLK Fortress, landing on the planet, CrimsonAngel decided to break into the fortress the only way he knew he could get away with, through the ventilation shafts.
Skillfully creeping his way past the female dark jedi dorms, CrimsonAngel and Fred made there way to the HLK Bar, where he dropped out of them, and enounted Scithe.
Making sure Fred stayed up there, he confronted Scithe, the HLK QUA and left. Fred followed, after he landed on Scithe.

1.OK it has come to my attention well really red's first that people are generally acting 3 yrs old lately, the best solution I can think of is to just not talk shit its as simple as that. lets keep the shit talking between just us(the team), and people you know ok that will solve probelms and I'm not saying that anyone is causing probelms but I read red's new report and I feel like I should help to enforce what he says being as how he's the OHC and all,
2.another this starting as of this week I will get a report from each of you every Sun and the latest will be Mon. if not after 2 times your on probation, which means that you have to get me 5 reports on time thats 5 weeks if in that time you don't your off the team and we will have a trial to see if you can get back on. Now granite there are some things that just come up so I'm gonna wait like 2 weeks of no report before I put you on probation, just make a report it only takes 5 min out of your busy life.You have all been warned so please don't get put on probation I'm not gonna be nice if I have to start doing this.
4.OK well I'm gonna have my report out next week because I need some offical reports from all of you guys, i told crim you were all active and actually I saw of heard from all of you last weekend and that amazed me really, so lets keep the reports flowwing and in the last Email I sent out it has detailed instructions on how to make a report.
Last thing is this if you don't have IRC go to www.irc.com and if you don't have AIM go that 2 you lazy bums they are small files but they really do alot of good for communication.
On that last note I would like everyone to make a post telling your AIm s/n that you use and your currnet Email so that everyone in the team can communicate with each other I think it will be a good thing.

Follow these instructions and you will go far in life: _
Make up fake acronyms. Online veterans like to use abbreviations like IMHO (in my humble opinion) or RTFM (read the f*cking manual) to show that they're "hep" to the lingo. Make up your own that don't stand for anything (SETO, BARL, CP30), use them liberally, and then refuse to explain what they stand for ("You don't know that? RTFM").
WRITE YOUR MESSAGES IN ALL CAPS AND DON'T USE RETURNS SO THAT EVERYONE HAS TO SCROLL ACROSS THEIR SCREENS TO READ EVERY LINE. ALSO USE A LOT OF !!!!! TO SHOW THAT YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT BEING HERE!
When replying to your mail, correct everyone's grammar and spelling and point out their typos, but don't otherwise respond to the content of their messages. when they respond testily to your "creative criticism," do it again. Continue until they go away.
Software and files offered online are often "compressed" so that they won't take so long to travel over the phone lines. Buy a compression program and compress everything you send, including one-word e-mail responses like "Thanks."
Upload text files with Bible passages about sin or guilt and give them names like "SexyHousewivesI," then see how many people download it. Challenge your friends to come up with the most popular come-ons.

Join a discussion group and tie whatever's being discussed back to an unrelated central theme.
