**_Clan/House News:

__Clan Crest Created by Mike:

_**Former member of Acclivis Draco, Mike Halycon, has created an amazing

graphic for the new CSP Crest. The image combines features of all three Houses

the background sun of Dorimad Sol, the sword of Caliburnus and the dragon

of Acclivis Draco. It's a beautiful image and I've uploaded it on my web-space

**_Consul Soon To Be On Leave:

_**Consul Cuchulain will soon be away with his work for a few weeks so

PCON Saitou will be taking command!

State of Dragon Guard Phyle:

Tetrarch Corde, Aedile Loor and myself have been discussing the poor activity

levels within the Dragon Guard Phyle. We have come to the decision that the

submission for Dark Allegiance shall determine the future of the Phyle. The

House has a large equite membership, yet the participation levels are not at

all good. Corde will move into Drynwyn's Flame and any other active members

will go to either DF or EC Phyle. Inactive members will remain in DG Phyle but

there will be no Tetararch and I will not allow the Phyle to represent the House.

House Run-On:

As I announced last week the KHP has launched House Run-On's all with the same

starter post - "The Vortex". This is going to continue monthly from

now on, so I hope we can produce some interesting run-on's. You'll all have

noticed you've been added to the hadrunon mailing list. Please feel free to

get involved and post, post, post!

Timbal's Great Idea:

Timbal mailed the summit this week with some great idea's about monthly member

evaluations, much like what happens in the TC. We're mulling it over and he's

gonna modify some forms for us to use. This will provide Tetrarches with another

little task to keep them busy. They'll note down any and all activitis of their

members over teh month and then mail myself and Loor with teh details and a

recomended course of action - be it a word in their ear for lack of activity,

or a medal/promotion. Myself and Loor will in turn watch the Tetrarches, Oathmaster

and each other, while we also ask the Clan summit to keep an eye on HAD's summit.

Hopefully this will provide more rewards for everyone and produce a great working

incentive. More news as this story unfolds next week...

DB News:

**_Dark Council News:

_**Lots of happenings this week within the Dark Council this week:

1) Deputy Grand Master Astatine

has resigned from his position. Expect a new DGM to be announced within the

coming week. This position is not open for applications so expect a curent DC

member or some lucky SOB!

2) Head Master Troutrooper has also resigned due to his recent appointment as

SDIR of the Intelligence Division. He's done some great work and got all Order

courses up and running. At present their is no details as to application requests

or P:HM being appointed, so stay tuned.

3) Herald Kaine is on a LoA for an undetermined amount of time. During his leave

the members of HAD (Sabe and myself!!!) will be running the show. Thsi really

ins't an important pice of news, just wanted to promote myself and Sabe's hard

work!!!

**_KHP Launches Krath Combat

Centre:

_**I have great pleasure in announcing that the Krath Combat Centre is

now complete and open! You can find the wonderful piece of work here: http://www.minos.net/~mairin/combat/.

I'd like to say a huge thank you

to DA Mejas Doto for the design, to KP ^CyberGuy^ and to JH JaM3z for their

fab coding. The majority of the site is complete, and JH JaM3z is currently

at work on implementing a ladder system as well. I hope that this will be well-used!

Competitions:

_**Dark Allegiance:

**_Entries for Phase 1 should be submitted by tomorrow, I am really looking

forward to reading what you guys have done. Phase 2 will be uploaded tomorrow

and probably launched on Monday the 7th. Results for Phase 1 should be out by

the start of next week. Good luck and may we crush Ektrosis in this endeavour.

_**Internal Phyle Competitions:

**_While the Dark Allegiance event takes priority above all others, there

are also competition being run within your Phyle by your Tetrarch. These are

a great way to earn yourself further medals and promotions - SO TAKE PART:

DF Phyle: The caption competition

against Ektrosis has been subitted with 100% participation yet again!!! Well

done and I look forward to the results. No other competition has been launched

as of yet...

_DG Phyle: _No competition

running at present.

_EC Phyle: _The Phyle's monthly

competition continues on. The deadline is October 7th (only a few days left!!!).

The topic is Spectre of the Past. All submissions must be sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses].

Tetrarch Tirna has also launched the next competition: The Haunting is the fiction

Conclusion:

An interesting week as they go. Major changes within the Dark Council which

will hopefully bring some new and exciting times in the DB. Dragon Guard is

at the make or break stage and Dark Allegiance Phase1 is drwaing to a close.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this whole Feud turns out, especially

WHEN we win...!!!

The House run-on has launched and

I want everyone to take part as often as they can. If we each make a daily post

it'll pad out well. So afr I've only heard from a few people but please jump

in and don't be scared to post! More news on this next week...
