First, I want to thank (again) Firefox for my promotion to Dark Side Adept. It means a lot to me and I'm glad that I've done enough to warrant the promotions. Thank you, also, to those who sent their congratulations to me.

I might not be around much this weekend, as my boyfriend is in town and we'll be busy (not one word, you perverts :P). I also bought a new hard drive (120 GB, ya!) and will be installing that. So, you might not see me until late Sunday. I just know that you all just pine at the thought of my absence. :P

A few notes, though, as I had to deny quite a few medals this week. Understand that the more you write about the awardee, the better the chance the medal has of being approved. On high level awards, I often consult the Grand Master or Order Leader or Consul to ensure that the award has a certain amount of validity. If those third parties have serious objections, the recommendation will be reevaluated. What I find odd about these "bad" recommendations is that they are not from newly appointed Battle Team Leaders or Aediles; they are from long-time Consuls or Quaestors. It is inexcusable for people in those positions to not have read the Medal Guide or reviewed the latest revisions to the Awards section. If you have any questions, please e-mail, as frequent infractions are noted and reported to the Grand Master.

Reason given for request: For outstanding service to his House and Clan. Zigurath has gone too long without proper reward for his efforts in taking a house from members equalling a little over half a battle team, to a house of over 20 members who have thrived in many competitions, including the latest Clan Feud under his leadership. He constantly inspires and encourages his members to participate in competitions and interact with eachother, giving Cestus a usually strong IRC presense as well. His leadership is echoed by the praise of all the members of his house who now are both happy to see him rise to a higher position, and saddened to see him leave the House and Clan he worked so hard and well with. I believe I can say that myself and Tarentum would agree that his contributions to the clan are more than deserving of this award.
