 <p class="report">I must apologize for being gone this past week, but now that I'm back I'm busily working on getting several projects that have been in the works for a while up and off the ground, so, with hope and a little luck the Journal Run-On should be started before next week's report. Yay!</p>

 <p class="report">On another note I'd like everyone to send a letter to the Acclivis Draco mailing list and introduce your characters to everyone else. I think it would be a good idea for everyone to get in touch with each other and learn something about ourselves. I myself plan to do one in the very near future.</p>

 <p class="report">Another activity that everyone can participate in is the Krath Combat Center. I myself am a part of it, and if anyone wants to join and challenge me, go ahead. Mako and I are already combating on the board, and I would like to be able to test you all, and give you all a chance to test me. I think it might prove a learning experience.</p>

 <p class="report">On another note the response towards my move to get people to vote for what competitions they would like to see in the Phyle's future and then post about them in detail on the message board has seen little result, as has my suggestion to take advantage of the form for submitting competitions. Please do at least post on the message board about it. I value your input highly!</p>

 <p class="report">And speaking of competitions, we have several to participate in. There is the October Monthly Fiction Topic, The Haunting, for which all the details may be found on the Ebon Cloak holosite. Then we have the second phase of the Dark Allegience. Sofar Talons and Mako has dropped a line of input, and I'd like to hear something from all of you as to what you think would work best. We need to work out a strategy so I can write up our submission. The deadline is very soon, so please get working! It only takes a minute to drop a line of input via email.</p>

 <p class="report">Thirdly, we have the monthly Krath Fiction and Poetry topics, and then the Krath Run-On. I will attempt to get my post done tomorrow, but do not wait for me to pose anymore. We are already two-thirds through the month and we need to bring it to a conclusion, so let's get posting!</p>

 <p class="report">Lastly, there are still a couple of days to get signed up for the Master/Student competition if you wish to participate. Sign up continues until the twentieth, to keep that in mind as you consider. Just a couple of days, not very long. All further details can be found on the official holosite.</p>

 <p class="report">There were no promotions this week, and that brings me to the subject of promotion requirements. Some of you are very close, having only one item left before you become elegible for promotion. For those of you who are unsure what you need to do next, here is a list:</p>

 <p class="report">Unfortunately I have very little to report this week. There were no courses taken this week, and Tirna made mention to me that Talons said that they had been messing up at the time he tried to take them. Has anyone else experienced this problem?</p>

 <p class="report">The medals sent out for Talons, Ktulu and myself for taking first, second and third place in last month's monthly topic were received today, and a hearty congratulations goes out to Talons and Ktulu, and a hearty thank you goes to Tirna for selecting me for third place. Even if I was one of only three members to submit.</p>

 <p class="report">There have been no transfers, and no new members this week unfortunately, and Erryc Lasitter, Detori Koth, and Zedder Netzach are still on an indefinate leave of absence. Return to us soon, Tyros!</p>

 <p class="report">"My Tyros, I have returned!"</p>

 <p class="report">The declaration left lingering echoes as the Tetrarch of Ebon Cloak -- one Tirna Q'jira -- forcefully swung the doors to the meeting hall open, their resounding boom causing many to jolt at the unexpected sound.</p>

 <p class="report">The Tetrarch smoothly glided up to the dais, spinning about in such a manner than her black cloak flared dramatically. The eyes of the entire Phyle were on her, save for Adian, who merely yawned and looked bored. Tirna's eyes narrowed, but she did not call the lack of disrespect to attention.</p>

 <p class="report">"My Tyros, it is my wish that each of you write something about yourselves and send out out over the House's contact list. I feel that if we all know each other a bit better that it may make communication and teamwork amongst us smoother and less troublesome. I myself shall be writing one as soon as my duties allow."</p>

 <p class="report">She cleared her throat softly. "Another activity everyone can participate in is the Krath Combat Center.  <p class="report">She paused for breath, scanning the group to be sure they were still attentive. "The Krath High Priestess has also set forth some topics of her own to write, and I would like to see participation in those as well, provided you have time after completing the Phyle and House activities and competitions." She arched an eyebrow suggestively.</p>

 <p class="report">"On a final note pertaining to competitions, to those of you with Masters the Master/Student competion is still accepting applications for sign-up until 20021020. I look forward to seeing you, my Tyros, participating."</p>

 <p class="report">She smiled then, a smile both icy chill and sad at the same moment. "To wrap up this report there were no promotions this week, however some of you are quite close to a promotion. A list of the next requirements each of you have to perform toward your promotion will be posted on the Ebon Cloak holosite's news section. I expect to see some work toward them from each of you."</p>

 <p class="report">She moved to step down then. "And without further adieu, I give you your Dark Hand..."</p>

 <p class="report">She heard the beginning of his speech, but not much more as she exited the meeting hall. Her heart was heavy and she still had not decided what to do with her reluctant prisoner. She did not relish keeping her brother under guard, but it was the most freedom she could give him. He had, after all, tried to kill her.</p>

 <p class="report">She sighed then, and turned down the hall toward her chambers. It was going to be a long night...</p>

 <p class="report">As Mako stepped up to the dais, he shuffled his papers together. "Now then, thank you Lady Tirna. I guess it's time for my report.  There are no transferals, no courses taken, though Talons said it was messing up when he tried, anyone else get this? Erryc Lasitter, Detori Koth, and Zedder Netzach are still on an indefinite leave of absence. Return to us soon, Tyros! Even if I was one of only three members to submit." Then, he cleared his throat, "That is about everything I have to report for this week...keep up the work. I will now leave you too your meals."</p>

 <p class="report">Mako sighed as he walked back to his quarters. "Open," he told the doors, which happily obeyed his command. Looking at his desk he saw what he had been avoiding for a few weeks now. Transfer papers. Mako decided that soon would be his time to change, but not yet. He thought as to which Clan to transfer to, he remembered that his friend said something about Arcona. Perhaps that would be the one.  He didn't know yet. He decided that he would go and proceed to his training facilities. Remembering what happened last week, he shuddered. He didn't want to deal with that again. But, he needed to train. Stripping to his black Martial Arts suit, he picked up Winter's Kiss and proceeded to the Training area.</p>

 <p class="report">Despite his thoughts, he could not concentrate because of those cursed papers. He tried to push that out of his head, but he couldn't. He then decided to go to the surface. Borrowing one of the water crafts he left a note for his Tetrarch, 'I'll be back in a few hours. -Mako' and left for the surface for some time to think. When he got to the surface, he began to watch the surface as the ripples slowly began to stop. Shutting down the craft, Mako stepped out onto the top of it. _What should I do?_ He thought. _I want to stay, but I feel like I need to leave._ Mako then decided that he would fill out those papers and send them in as soon as he felt ready for the change in pace.  Now, the only thing to do was wait....</p>
