Page’s Pub

A paranoid bartender checked his time piece often; alternating glances from there to the small wooden door opposite him. “Someone must be coming in soon!” The Aedile Page spoke to himself a few times. While looking again, this time at the old clock on the wall, he heard the door swing open, presumably kicked by a leather boot.

“Ahhh! DA Orso! It is excellent to see you. How are you doing?” Page said over anxiously. With a look to the high vaulted ceiling, Orso replied (to no one in particular) “Hmmm, Page asks me how I’m going. mental note” Then looking over at Page holding a large blue bottle, “How am I doing what Page?” Page just shook his head and poured a double Endorian vodka for the hooded Jedi and returned to looking at his time piece.

Slowly, the rest of House Aleema staggered, strode, or strolled through the door to the newly-opened Jedi pub. Of course, Master Shups did not show, as he was not required to. Maybe it’s better that way. Maybe, just maybe, its better that he doesn’t know what exactly goes on here.

Aedile’s Info

Welcome to the flagship of my style of reporting system! I hope you all enjoy yourselves in my pub. We’re going to discuss a couple issues and comps today and hopefully catch a buzz in the process. Please help yourselves to the refreshments on the table in the corner, and if you can’t wait, help yourself behind the bar. Only one thing is off limits here: My black bottle of Imperial Bourbon. With that being said, let’s talk a little business before I start to slur.

Aedile’s Challenge

As previously stated, I will not be discussing any competitions in detail save my own. I’m sure Shups will beat that topic to death (as he should), and Dalthid and Tronsta do a fine job in that department as well. So, with the Aedile’s Challenge series, we currently have one competition running: “Aleema Warning Labels Part II (round one)”. I’ve currently received four submissions from the House. I will stop accepting them early tomorrow, at which time the next topic will be released. Overall, the submissions that I did receive were very high quality! Good job to those who got ‘em in early. I’m keeping things light while the MSC III and MML II are running, as they do take a little priority away from anything from me. I will, however, probably have Aedile’s Challenge competitions overlap a bit – for no lull in action. Keep your eyes peeled over the egroups and the message boards for updates. Also, regarding the message boards, the last time that I checked (earlier today) there were no replies to the actual Aedile’s Challenge post. THANK YOU! If I had moderator status, I would lock the topic for my altering only. I only put it there for your viewing convenience. Any questions, complaints, or snide remarks should be sent to me directly, or maybe over the House Aleema egroup if you think the remark should be viewed by all. So lets keep that up please, and thanks for you support and cooperation. In addition, thank you to those who submitted and actually used the guidelines that I set for the email format. TK, I guess you don’t have to follow the rules like everybody else did! Hahaha, you’re still O.K. in my book bro, just please try to at least use asterisks in the title, as my email load has about the density of mercury at this point. Groovy? Groovy!

Getting a buzz…

Page gets a refill Now that we’re all “getting the job done here”, I’d like to discuss my views on our beloved TET’s : Dalthid and Tronsta. Great job keeping things rolling gentlemen. To everyone in your Phyles: Please send your weekly mini-reports to them as they so kindly asked you. Shups and I are huge, mega, colossal fans of getting people promoted when they so deserve it. If you take a piss in the snow and write the letters: “DB” – that’s activity! Well, you get my point I think. Page gets another refill, and complains about how small the glass is I’ve been hearing a lot of good ideas coming from the TET’s. I don’t know if they made it all up themselves, or had some help from the Tryo’s. But, the TET’s know. Don’t forget to take that in to account when reviewing an individual for promotion according to the trials implemented by Shups (tis on the message board should ye need it). Anywho, keep the good ideas coming everyone. The leadership runs dry quickly without help! Page attempts to drink from an empty glass, and sighs

Seeing double…

Page tells everyone how much he loves them; really Well then. I’d just like everyone to know something. If you (yes YOU) think that something needs to be changed, or something need to be eliminated, or something needs to be created, let me know about it. I’m not talking about exclusively in Aleema either. If you think there should be different urinals in the men’s room on Eos, let me know. I can and will up-channel every of that type of request that I receive. Times change; and rather than watch people quit the Brotherhood because they don’t like something, I would rather see something changed to accommodate everyone. Page drops his glass and breaks it; he retrieves another Did you ever notice that when someone brings up a problem to be addressed, there’s (all of a sudden) about 20 more people that shout: “AMEN!”? I can guarantee that if you have a problem with someone or something, you’re not alone my brothers and sisters! Hiccup

Falling off of the chair…

Page catches himself; almost Now that we (or do I mean me?) are crocked, I’m going to bring up something that I’d like some feedback on. I’m sure we’ve all heard of Star Wars Galaxies. Some of you have seen the post I put on the message boards regarding this topic. I would like everyone, if you are so inclined to do so, to send me a mail with your personal views on the subject: “What I want to get from the Dark Brotherhood when SWG is released”. If you have no plans of playing SWG, think about how it will still affect you if/when it’s implemented to the Brotherhood. I think a lot of folks are taking this lightly. You saw what JK II did to the Obelisk. Imagine what SWG is going to do to the mix. If need be, I’m going to personally make huge strides to ensure all are accommodated who wish to feel the presence of the Brotherhood within SWG. If you want things to be confidential that you send to me, I’ll keep your wishes; just let me know. Page asks everyone how long he was passed out for That is all my friends!

The Drunk Tank
