Dark Greetings Tarentum,

Not much to report this week aside from all the competitions I mentioned last week actually beginning.. so that is good news. :) Tarentum is currently at 75 members in total, though unfortunately a recent AWOL check will be removing some of the members we could not get a hold of. In any case, Tarentum is still growing strong. =)

Cestus is currently involved in a feud with a House Galares.. which I'm confident they'll do excellent with. =) Tridens has also begun a house vs. house feud with Galthain, which was a bit delayed in its announcement to the general members, but I'm sure all will run smoothly from here on out. :) And Gladius just started an interesting competition dealing with a person's journey after death.. very interesting. :)

I still want to run a Clan Christmas Competition during the month of the December, it won't be anything terribly big because I know exams and the Christmas holidays will keep some people away especially later into the month, but Rage suggested the idea to me and I thought it'd be a fun thing for everyone that had the time to participate in. I plan stories, poems, graphics, theme searching, and the wonderful (christmas) song parodies.. I didn't get any responses to my inquiry about how I could make it more interesting for Sith or Obelisk, and I'll assume if I don't hear anything else that all orders would just have fun with those types of events. Graphics, song parodies and such won't require anyone to be too Krathie-inclined, I hope. ;) But if anyone would still like to suggest another type of event I'm still free for suggestions. =)

This is Quaestor report #6 dating 23.11.2002. This is the first time I sent out my report over the cestus mailing list It will work and everyone will get that report. Who ever won´t get this report please yell an I will sent it out to him again :P Ok let´s get started.

Activity:

Activity is definetly on the rise although we are still quite away from the ultimate goal of 100% house activity. The reason for this are mainly new member who joined us recently and less old members who reactivated themselves.

To all from whom I haven´t heard anything in the past weeks that is the THIRD activity check mail, so hit the reply button and sent me a proof of life from you. The activity monitoring is going on and there are still some members who are in danger to be kicked afterwards. Everyone who joined Cestus this week isn´t concerned with this matter.

Activity Reports:

SickMan: The past week i have been playing JK2 nearly every night for about

half an hour, i'm in a clan called TNA, look for the TNA server on the eye

you can usually find me there on my sabres spree's.

I keep upto date with the news thanks to the Cestus email group, so i know

whats happening, anyway apologies for lack of communication.

Rage Maki:Weee Activity report time :P So what did I do the whole long week?

I participated in the temple creation comp. I had some great matches against

Sukuth, Zekk and Gelton. I even won! I also got some JK2 skins which look

totally neat. I wanted to partake in the JK tourney on Saturday 9pm CET but

unfortunatley reza decided to just call it off for no special reason, which

is very unfair especially because Europes can only take part in this Sat

tourney (or would you play at 1 or 2am on a Sun.)

I was daily online and posted on the MB. Feud is soon coming and I am going

to participate alot :P

Played Gelton in an official duel and lost

Tygarin Cypher: - hanging out on IRC

            -playing JK2  

Gelton Torr: - played trainings matches with my APP LadyRageMaki

• been on IRC daily

• won two CFs in tournement games

• took care of day to day house business

Talon Zetar: I was on IRC and I wrote some emails.

Mike Halcyon: Getting settled in. Build the egroups for an easier way of

communication. By now, I'm trying to get some matches for the

Cestus/Galeres feud. Hope I don't encounter Dagger... :P

Zekk: -Finally Back. WOOOT!

     - Played JK2 with Gelton Sukuth adn Rage Maki  

     - Worked on Website  

     - Wrote Roll Masters Report.  

Maximus:

This week I admittedly have not done much with the DB. I plan on

revitalizing my activity by participating in the OHC cup on Saturday. And,

Im going to continue to pester AF members into activity :).

Competition:

The house feud with Galeres started and there were already some matches played in the JKII ladder. But for the JK and the fiction ladder there are no entries so far. Get your JK disks or open your notepad or what ever you use and change that.

Show them that Cestus is well versed in differnent kind of platforms.

Yay! Another week and another report! Not really much happening really. No promotions, no medals, nothing much at all. I've seen a few things sent in for the monthly topic but not as much as I'd like to see.

If no one knows, our KHP has been promoted to DGM. I'm personally looking forward to seeing who's promoted to KHP. It should prove to be an interesting change.

I am not pleased with the results of the AWOL check. I know it's got one more day and I'm hoping to see at least a few more people reply. If anyone knows what's happened to any of them let me know so I at least don't worry too much about their safety. Some may be wondering why we have to do AWOL checks every month. Simply put, the higher ups want us to. It also looks better when we have 100% participation and instead of 50% in big competitions.

I am sad to say that after the AWOL check is done and results are submitted, the Wizards of the Crypt will be no more, at least for a while. Hades and I both agreed that it should be closed until there is some interest in it again. Sorry Kodiak, gonna have to move you out.

For those of you not in a phyle, look towards proving yourself active enough to join the Mystics. TET Akaido is one for activity! And on the note of activity, if things go as planned, everyone will enjoy a nice little competition starting Sunday. Nothing real big but it might get you a shiny medal and a better look at a promotion.

I will be on a partial LoA next week. I have a laptop to take on my trip but it is not known how often I will be able to check my email.

I can't think of anything else for this week. Everyone will be sent info on the comp as soon as it gets done and approved. I look forward to seeing lots of participants.
