The following change has been made to the Medal System glares at the groaning masses, and then continues

The Crescent has now been incorporated to deal with Brotherhood-wide, non-Vendetta events. Novas may only be given for Vendettas; in all other cases, Crescents must be awarded. The new structure is as follows:

Diamond Star (Cr-1D) First in an Brotherhood-wide competition
Ruby Star (Cr-1R) First in Order, Second in Brotherhood
Amethyst Star (Cr-1A) First in Clan, second in Order, third in Brotherhood
Sapphire Star (Cr-1S) First in House, second in Clan, third in Order
Emerald Star (Cr-1E) First in Battle Team, second in House, third in Clan
Topaz Star (Cr-1T) Second in Battle Team, third in House
Quartz Star (Cr-1Q) Third in Battle Team

Nothing too complicated. The changes are not retroactive. If you already had a competition going with the old system, keep it going and award the medals. Any competition from this day forward must adhere to the new guidelines.
