Greetings brothers and sisters

Another week is over and indeed it was a very busy week.

Activity

The activity this week was, concerning, competitions okay. It is quite hard to tell exactley since we have 2 big competitions going on. But as I see some of the mystics hanging around on the tarentum channel I think we can be quite satisfied.

Feud - Dark Jedi Games

I know that the events are abit strange, especially the Krath events. To be honest I am not that keen on them. Though I encourage you to do as many as you can. A little note concerning the KCC event. I asked the Jugde our KHP how this will be handled, how the KCC staff will distiguish between feud and normal matches. The KHP said frankly it isnt his problem. So I went and asked the KCC staff, whom didnt even know that there is a feud nor that there is a KCC event in one. But now they are informed. So if you wish to make a KCC match then write into this reason field that it is a Feud match. Dont expect fast approval for matches, as I have been informed the KCC staff is quite busy.

Another note concerning the minievents like pool, minigolf and chess. If you have a sensitive firewall, as I have you cant play them. If you can play be sure to run the program adaware because there is a spycookie on the website. So if you dont like others to know which websites you browse run adaware.

I also asked how many graphics we are allowed to send in for the graphic event and I was told only one! (last feud it was as many as we wanted).

But still try to participate. The runon is quite ...fun, it might seem confusing and chaotic but if you need information about the plot (in the moment every clan has its own) you can ask me. Xmas competition

Still try to get some submissions in for the Xmas comp. A little story, or poem, a nice graphic everything xmas like is okay and appreciated :)

Monthly topic, KCC and other DB wide comps

The Monthly topic still runs (till 31st Dec) the topics are quite interesting. For the Story writers under you the topic is to write a combat, a fight. For the people interested more in poems the topic is to descripe your homeplanet in free verse.

KCC matches are approvel very slowly in the moment still you can get a CF for every won match!

Other DB wide comps are the Obelisk events every week and the Sith events to get more information about them please check the Main-website and the MB or mail me :)

House Competition Done!

The House competition with the topic journey to death ended last weekend. I hope many of you wrote entries and I am excited to hear the results :)

Mystic competition - not planned

Because we are having two big important comps I decided to wait a bit longer with a BT competition. Let us concentrate on the Xmas comp and the Feud.

General News

Dark Voice

The Editor of the Dark Voice Korbane Ashoka is now Praetor of the Herald and the Herald will be in charge of awarding the Dark Scrolls. I think this will be a very helpful change and we will get the DSs even faster. Submissions for Dark Voice #33 are already open!

Society of Envoys

From henceforth, the Society of Envoys will serve the Shadow Academy as mentors for its UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY. That is, it will facilitate and assist the progress of APPRENTICES through their basic training.

The Society will no longer have a nominal head; the position of Knight Commander of the Brotherhood will become redundant. Instead, the Envoys will report to their Clan Leaders and to the Headmaster of the Shadow Academy.

Each Clan will have a Clan Envoy. It will be his responsibility to oversee the duties of House Envoys (see below), to ensure that they conduct their tasks promptly and appropriately, and to make sure that assignments are passed to them on a timely basis. He will be responsible for writing reports to his Clan Summit and the Headmaster on general progress with the scheme. He will keep in regular contact with the Headmaster, who will assign the Clan Envoy with a number of recruits per week (which is dependent on the number of Apprentices who sign on). The Clan Envoy is then responsible for assigning those Apprentices to the Envoy of the relevant House within his Clan and ensuring that those assignments are followed up correctly.

I know I know it is still under construction. The last weeks I was quite busy with uni and different comps and feuds. I will finish the website and put the new symbol on there :)

This week I would like to give kudos to Siterath and Valpurgius who are both a lot on IRC and I see them working very hard for the feud participating in minievents matches and writting for the runon.

And also kudos to Jason Hunter, I saw you are having a match at the KCC. Why didnt you mention that? :P
