Christmas Story:_Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â *<font face="Arial">A story of "Christmas" in Clan Tarentum. People in the "real world" celebrate Christmas with Santa and Christmas trees and, of course, food. But how do people in the Star Wars universe, or in the Brotherhood and Clan Tarentum celebrate? Is there Vader with a santa costume? Do we gather in the cantina and sing Christmas songs? Or is it Christmas at all? Perhaps its just a winter festival. Your job is to write whatever rituals and traditions you believe your DB persona would celebrate. You may use our usual Christmas traditions or create an entirely different holiday, it's up to you, have fun with it and be creative. =)

Christmas Poem:</font><font face="Arial">Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Write a Christmas poem. . .about the general feelings generated by this holiday, or whatever other holiday you created. Think. -- Twas Night Before Christmas. . .and all through Tarentum's hallowed halls. . .Â >:P There is no minimum number of lines, but try and make it something of a little substance. ;)

Christmas Theme Searching:</font><font face="Arial">Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A simpler event in which you get to use your favorite search engine to shoot around the web and find Star Wars related websites that hold Christmas themes, acceptable entries would be things such as music, backgrounds, interesting pictures, etc.

And I hate to repeat myself. But i'll throw out a couple of things for ppl to think about: Medals, Awards and Promotions require work. Nothing gets handed to anyone. Some people, who wish to be part of a great House, will transfer to one that is already great. I challenge you, the Members of HammerHead, to help make Tridens a great House. But to do this, we must begin with our own Battleteam. To this end, I hereby annouce a couple of new policies: First: If a comp runs, and a pilot doesn't fly, I want a reason...and I want a good reason. If no reason is forthcoming after a couple of such occurences, action will be taken. Second: From now on, Flight Leaders will be expected to set the example for the rest of the Squadron. If you are unable/unwilling to do this, you will be replaced by someone who will. For those of you who don't fly for whatever reason, understand that your lack of participation hurts those who DID participate. I took over HammerHead with the idea of making a Battleteam that other Houses would respect and fear...and I see that i've still got a long ways to go. But I can't do it without you guys. If real life gets too busy, or you just don't have time for the DB anymore, then request a transfer to Rogue. I'd hate to see anyone leave, but I need peple in our Battleteam who care about the Squadron as a whole, and those who wish to advance their careers. Ok, rant over. I wish everyone to have a good weekend. If anyone has any questions, concerns, gripes or complaints, my inbox is currently empty.
