Announcements from the Office of Consul Zorrixor

Finally my workload is well and truly over for three weeks...its kinda sad really, I've not had a single day free in 7 weeks, now that I've not got a single day working for 3 weeks it seems odd...oh well...

An eventful week, with the upcoming weeks to see quite a few things happening...though whether good or bad is up to you to determine.

Quaestor Appointments

Well my choices are with the Council, matter of time now just to wait and see when they're approved, I'd expect it to be sometime tomorrow.

AWOL Check Results

Well Marka Ragnos and Ludo Kressh have sent theirs in, I assume Primus Goluud has...though Raistlin's not said anything. Bare in mind, that these things are meant to be systematic now on a monthly basis...whereby QUAs, or if they choose to delegate it, Battleteam Leaders, keep track of activity on a weekly basis and AWOL people doing ntohing every four weeks. I dislike having to do these mandatory checks and finding people still around...they're meant to be gone the week they go AWOL, not when I ask for a check....

Feud Update

Well the feud is definately postponed until after the GJW, so don't be expecting much news from it for a month or two....

Clan Envoys

With the reorganization of the Society of the Envoys comes the need to find some Envoys...who are basically our representatives at the Shadow Academy. Now, whilst this looks like a cheap job for younger, less experienced members to just earn quick medals from, its far from it. The Envoy positions aren't going to be given away that easily, they're designed as tutors to the Apprentices, so I'm expecting them to be quite experienced, so preferably DJK+.

I'll be taking applications until I find people adequate for Clan Envoy, and the three House Envoys. I'm not going to lay down any set criteria, if you've got time and want to show some interest in getting this Clan active then feel free to apply.

DB Leadership Studies now Mandatory

So you all know, the LS course is now a requirement for all summit people. So by the end of the year all Quaestors, Aediles and Battleteam leaders will NEED to have taken the course. Its a fifteen minute job, it shouldn't be of any difficulty...

House News Foreword

At the request of the new Deputy Grand Master, all reports now NEED to be uploaded to the database, so I'm expecting that to be done. It takes about 30 seconds after you've written it to upload it, and thats even with my useless 64k connection. Anyhow, I look forward to seeing some QUA reports next week from the new QUAs...

Conclusion

Well that ends another week, I'll hopefully get some substantial work done this week. Though I can't deny it does seem like every week the Clan is shrinking, and leaders are going inactive. A month ago I was pleased that everyone was doing reports on time, at the moment I'm recieving practically none and seeing complaints about Battleteam Leader reports not being done. I do start to wonder how many of you out there are still actually interested in this place, especailly after what I said a fortnight ago...anyhow, whether or not its just me, I don't know. I guess I'll give it until new year to see how activity fares over the holiday before making any decisions...though I must say my concern is growing.....as I keep warning, I don't want to do anything drastic...but, well...I'm not going to have much choice soon.
