Greeting all.

First off I'd like to thank Firefox for granting me the position of CoG, and for allowing me to remain in Tal for the time being. I know things have been lacking in the GMRG for several years now and I plan on setting everything straight :)

1) First things first. I know it's Christmas, and whether or not you celebrate it, you're out getting drunk and having fun with friends and/or family. So until after the New Year I'm not expecting much activity.

However, after the New Year, things we'll be getting strict in the ways of activity. Expect to be on-line a lot for JK/JK2 :P

2) For some time as Praetor I've been working on competitions, and ideas... (Yes, I was planning on taking CoG eventually :P) There will be several GMRG-only tournaments and competitions for rank, etc. Be prepared for those soon.

3) A week or so ago, DJK Mordin Malchia came to me with an interesting idea for the GMRG. His idea was to have us participate in the OGL, the 0nline Gaming League. Together we have checked it out and I agreed that it would be a great place to show off our skills. Sorry to all JK1ers within the Guard, but this competition is JK2 only.

More news will be released on this in the New Year.

4) Due to the fact that our last host for the GMRG site needed money and had to shut down the hosting, I have registered with minos.net and the new and improved GMRG site will be up abd functional within a week (I hope)

The new site will contain more information on the Guard, promotion outline, join forms, etc to help us get members and to speed activity up.

5) Currently I have no need for Assistants, and until I do, please refrain from sending me applications. Dest, you sent me and app before I knew I got CoG :P

PS: The GMRG will be recieving a large amount of email on all the new changes I've planned.
