House Galthain of Clan Satal Keto
Quaestor: Sith Battlemaster Pyralis
Aedile: Sith Warrior Talon Jade
December 22, 2002
Pyralis walked the stairs, climbing, climbing, climbing the Dark Hall. The wind howled high above. Pyralis journeyed to the highest atrium to meditate. The room was empty save the hovering cushion above the Dark Circle containing the Clan's emblem. The room was exposed to the elements. There were no windows, only spaces in between hardened stone which held the Dark Hall from the base to its apex.
Pyralis, dressed in his fullest robes, peered through the darkness from within the the center of the circle, sitting in mid-air. There was nothing you could see, but Pyralis, like most of the Jedi, sensed something beyond.
This "something" was the future. It held the answers to today's questions. The destiny of House Galthain. The portal to the future of Satal Keto. Was there life and victory, or was their demise and defeat? These answers were always clouded and none could give a definitive answer - not even the Dark Jedi Masters who had come here as members of Satal Keto.
Pyralis lost himself in the Darkness and meditated. He looked inward for the answers to these trying questions of his House's fate.
What did the Darkness hold for Galthain's destiny?
Welcome/Transfers:

--SW Arso Slyth has transferred to CSP.
--There are no incoming members this week - probably because of the holiday season
--We now have 8 pilots in each battle team:

IMPORTANT INFO
I will be taking a mandatory Leave of Absence from very early Saturday, December 28th, 2002 until late January 5th, 2003. I will have ZERO access to the internet during this time. I have not officially decided who will be taking on the role of acting QUA in my absence since Talon Jade will be leaving House Galthain on January 1st, 2003 - yes, the rumors are true :(. However, have no fear, there are a few promising ambitious people that would love the job for a week. If you are interested, e-mail me with a detailed explanation of what you plan to do while I'm gone and what qualifies you as an interim House Galthain QuaestorÂ… E-mail it to me and Jade by Tuesday, December 24th. He and I will decide who's in charge while both of us are gone
Promotions:
ACO Big Daddy > PRT Big Daddy
http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/dossier.asp?ID=2719
The reason given for this request:
In just one week, Acolyte Big Daddy has gone above and beyond the call of duty. He has flown for the Readiness competition, the House Tridens competition, SSL Round 2, AND the first phase of the clan competition "Worth It?!" Additionally, he has gone beyond those requirements and has flown the following XWA battles: CAB #1, DB #1, XWA-FG #1, #2, #3, IW #26, #27, TC #1, #2, #3 as I received one pilot file after another (these weren't pulled from the archives). If this wasn't enough, he has won two melees for the EH in the Outer Rim #2 wars. He also just won the DB trivia after the DB meeting on Saturday. For his unrelenting dedication to House Galthain, he has more than fulfilled the requirements for a promotion in my eyes... Congrats BD! - SBM Pyralis

PRT Hawker > Steel Cross
http://darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/dossier.asp?ID=2713
Reason given for request:
Hawker has single-handedly created the most detailed XWA battle plotline I have EVER seen in my entire experience in the Emperor's Hammer. Submitted for a satellite project I started in House Galthain and appointed him as director, it is MY hope that this plotline will be the Galthain Battle Creation Team's first REAL work. This is an extended service to Clan Satal Keto which I think is unbelievably important and unprecedented. Due to the great dedication put forth and the very rare and special circumstances of this achievement, I believe Hawker must gain recognition with an equally important medal - a story he can certainly tell his followers one day. For the Brotherhood! - QUA/SBM Pyralis

Battlelord Hades tells me that it is questionable whether Delphian or DDD will make it to the tournament. I only got 4 submissions overall - 2 from DDD and 2 from Delphian. Although it is still up in the air, it doesn't look good, guys :( Valiant effort overall though. I wish we could have done better this round.
::: "WORTH IT?!" - A Clan Satal Keto Competition :::
Phase Two: "Turn Up the Heat!" - until December 28th, 2002
[Sith Multiplayer Ladder]
Basic Rules as set down by Battlelord Darkonian:
1) You may ONLY play 1vs1 (one on one) matches
2) There is a limitation to how many times you play the same opponent. You can get NO MORE than 3 victories against one opponent. After that, you are no longer permitted to report matches against that PIN number. For example, DJK Sam plays DJK John. Sam beats John in all 3 matches. (3-0). But, when John plays ACO Blah, Blah is able to win 2 matches against John while John claims the final 3rd victory over Blah. Since one of them now have 3 victories over the other, they can no longer report matches against each other on the Ladder.
3) Failure to comply to these rules (without a REALLLLLY good reason) will result in all of your reported matches in the violated case being deleted from the Ladder.
Go to: http://www.minos.net/~csk/ladder.php
Click on: "Worth it?! clan competition, Sith Ladder"

Congratulations to our clan leader!! :D

Happy Holidays to House Galthain. You've done a lot of work and deserve some time off. Try to keep in mind when the competitions are due and submit when you can - even if it's with invulnerability, unlimited weapons, or unlimited craft waves. For the multiplayer aspect, do your best to just show up and find someone that wants to play. You don't have to win, just try out some MP! You have made me very proud of what this House is becoming. I hope once the new year starts that we may begin to leave destruction in our wake and bring resolution to the Sith OrderÂ…
For the empire,
For the brotherhood,
