Page Meridian sounding off...
Page's Pub
Still on the wagon, Page quietly sat at the bar drinking a glass of ice water. The time was 0430 (Imperial Standard Time). "I suppose I could remove a few more stools from around here to make room for entertainment" Page whispered to himself, though he actually had no new entertaining devices. Glancing at the picture of DJM Shups over the bar, the Aedile systematically scrolled his eyes over to his black bottle. It just didn't look as good as it used to. This was a bitter-sweet feeling. For some reason, thinking back to the first pub meeting, Page felt the strong desire to make the first drink again. Some might recall, it was a double Endorian Vodka for the dear DA Orso. Would she show to drink it this week? Perhaps that was not really the question bouncing in Page's head, but more along the lines of "Would she want to drink it if she showed?" Reaching with the force for the blue bottle, the door to the pub swung open and a small figure in a hooded robe entered. Question one was answered, but does she want it? For a Dark Adept Jedi, it is truely rare to need to verbalize a question. A rare warm feeling ripped through the force and the room, coming from Orso. Page smiled as he poured the drink over ice. "Your drink, M'Lady". Orso picked it up and began to sip from the short, thick glass. She managed to crack a smile. Maybe times weren't as bad as they seemed.
House News
Some may have noticed the dwindling Aleema roster. Please make no mistake, the individuas removed were indeed taken from their respective battle teams nearly a month ago as AWOL. While are numbers look a bit smaller, we are actually holding the same amount of folks who are active. With rosters in mind, my formal apologies to JH Garou. I believe he told me to put him back on SotN when he returned from Rogue, and I thought I had. Now he's at home again and ready to get that Knighthood!
No QUA yet, and I'm in the dark now as well it seems. I've heard that an attempt to bring a respected individual from outside the Clan to run the show has failed. Now one of our own is being considered (or perhaps we're waiting for him to accept an offer??). We'll just have to stand by in the mean time and keep our heads up!
Activity seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel. I'd (as well as the Clan summit) like to see it taken up a notch next week. We have the big Clan comp going, and last minute chances for the Krath monthly stuff. Keep in mind as well, that the Dark Voice is open for business! Dalthid picked up a few big crescents as well as his Knighthood! Congrats bro! Also, let's all try to jump on IRC at least a couple times per week and get the latest buzz. I havn't had many "how do I find" questions lately, so you must be using the links and the main DB page. Good job all.
Regarding competitions, it's worth mentioning that the Aedile's challenge will be back and running for January. I have a couple comps approved right now, but with the Holidays and such, I figured I'd not waste them right now. Don't forget that if you have any good comp ideas (or any other comments) let myself or your TET know. It's all about doing what you all want. If it's not too much trouble, drop me an email in the next week or so with any questions/comments/snide remarks!

Topic: The Krath in Combat. Many feel the Krath are ineffective in battle. Show the reader how wrong they are. Keep in spirit with the Order!

Clan Competition Part 2
Phase 2 "Turn up the heat!"
*Krath:
Reaching the platform seemed like it hat taken forever, but you finally did it and you are still alive too!
As you reach to the suspended PCON to remove the low humming device on his chest, another flash of light blinds you as you wonder if this is going to become a habit.
As you regain your sight you see that you have been transported into a stone room and notice that two of your fellow clan members nearly appeared at the same time as you did. you are not sure , if they also tried to save the Proconsul and entered after you, or if they were just another illusion. on your guard you greet them and start exploring the room. You see four doors, each placed in the center of one of the walls. you open the doors and to your amazement you find that each opens up to a totally different landscape and place. One leads to a jungle, the second to an ice desert, the third to a forest that very much looks like the Desalmado forest and you can even see the shapes of the clan's stronghold in the distance and the forth opens to a long corridor.
you turn around to your companions and say....
Rules:
Run-on for three
open for Sith and Obelisk as well,
basically you grab 2 of your friends and start writing a story with them, you do it over mail between the three of you only in a run-on fashion.
with setting a limit to three it makes it easier to control and waits smaller . each of the three can chose to be on the rescue mission or an illusion, a sort of an enemy within to foil it. it is up to each of you, and no you don't have to say from start what you, it would only take the suspense away! :P
by the time the deadline is here you should have complete stories that you send over to Consul Drako and myself!
as for the finish of it: what ever way you chose in the end you find yourself in an arena sort of place .

I really don't want to get any email about any of you getting killed in a car accident because you were drunk. Please, for yourselves, be safe and get a DD or just don't drive. With 2002 coming to a close, lets leave it behind us and start the new year in the DB with a bang! Also, I'll be taking a very brief LOA until 2 Jan 03. I'll probably be able to check my mail until then, but just in case you don't see me around a lot, don't think I quit on ya :)
