I hope everyone had a lovely New Years, and I welcome all to the year 2003. May it be a joyous year for all. Now, for the announcements. :P

Firstly, when recommending medals for competitions, make sure that you include the competition ID that you receive when you register the competition. Otherwise, the requests will be denied.

Secondly, in order to earn a Scroll of Indoctrination the person you recruit must complete the Phase I and II exams within the Shadow Academy. While no one has done this, I am enacting this rule to prevent people from simply recruiting several people to earn a medal, and not to bring active members into the Brotherhood.

Finally, I have begun writing a new History of the Dark Brotherhood. I have written a preliminary document based on the information found in the Dark Voices that I have, but I want to have input from the membership in my writing. Since there are large gaps of time between the Dark Voices, some positions simply appear, and then disappear later. Also, it is good to get personal perspectives on matters. So I ask the older members, former Grand Masters, Dark Council members, Consuls and other Summit members to offer up any information they have. Anything sent to me will be considered for inclusion to my History, but understand that not everything will make it in.

To those who provide a great deal of assistance in this endeavor will be rewarded.

In other news, I am now a member of the Grand Master's Royal Guard, and the only Krath member currently on it. Considering the fact that I have beaten the Commander a few times, this shows that the Krath are obviously not the pansies the Obelisk would like to believe. :P

Reason given for request: Over the last 3 months, Demos has turned this House into the best Sith House in the DB at the moment. All House Oriens Obscurum BT made it into the next round of the SSLseason 2 under his guidence. Season 1 was won under his guidence. Normally this is done by his BT but I think his enthousiasm and constant reminders have helped these BT to achieve this. He does his weekly reports in time, is online daily talking to Clan and House members, writes numerous emails a week to motivate his people and has created a training manual for HOO Sith. He also comments frequently on topics concerning the whole Sith Order. He also has held a lot of competitions and has participated himself in Clan Competitions. He has done this wihtout the help of an AED for most of the time he is QUA now.
