“…and so it is now. A Great War is stirring…” Pyralis spoke.

The masses of Galthain standing before him, Pyralis addressed the body. The audience chamber buzzed with hushed whisperings at the news of such an event.

But, to two, it was not big news. Reinthaler and Big Daddy stood on the side talking about which two victims they’d choose in a cooperative 2v2 match in a mock skirmish in the upper Desalmado atmosphere. Training had increased and they wanted a piece of the action. They were wiser and older, having seen many wars in the Brotherhood’s history. This was just another day for them. They could taste the blood that would be shed in the clan’s honor. It was sweet.

Drako and Darkonian were walking and observing along the upper pylons on the interior sides of the Dark Hall. They exchanged words, questioning if House Galthain was truly ready for such wide-scale conflict.

“It has been a long time since we last fought like this.” Drako murmured “A great upheaval in the Sith has occurred, but still it may be too soon. Are our forces ready, lord?”

“The future is uncertain, my master. However, as I look down upon this group, I feel an anxious, eager energy that I have not felt since before I walked these steps in these robes…” Darkonian trailed off.

“I have sensed it Darkonian. Sometimes, I wonder if a rise of the great new era is beginning – just as the scrolls have prophesized. Even then, it may be too early for them. Many are young. But they are all strong. It is so difficult to see if they will unite and collectively serve Satal Keto during this trying time” concluded Warlord Drako as they both walked hands in robes along the walkways.

“…and our contacts have relayed that the Dark Council on Eos is on the move. Many homeworlds are on the upset preparing for the greatest conflict in years. The standing of our entire Homeworld among the Brotherhood is at stake. It will test the very foundations of the Brotherhood of the Jedi,” his staff struck the ground with the echo of stone to stone.

“Most of all, my brothers, it will be a test of House Galthain unseen for years past, and unseen for years in the future. It is by far the most profound and difficult assignment we will ever have been charged with. To succeed, we will gain awards and prestige over the rest of the Brotherhood. To succeed, we will gain the rank as a leading house of the Brotherhood. To succeed, we will keep our lives.” Pyralis decreed.

“To fail, we shall fall. To fall, it will be our demise. We must not fail.”

“Brethren, unite! Only with the combined force of all three houses will Satal Keto reign supreme over an entire Brotherhood. When the time comes, strike with your greatest energy. Destroy with your greatest blow. Kill with your most angered rage…”

Welcome/Transfers:

--Welcome Sith Warrior Mell Kerrigan, Guardian Draco Caanis, Sith Warrior Blade Kilraven, and Dark Side Adept Reinthaler. As with any incoming members, you make me very excited and hopeful for all the great times to come. I have a feeling this has the potential to be a very special group of recruits. Transfer of Power:

On Monday, January 13, Warrior Talon Jade will be transferring to the Rogues to pursue military training in RL. His career has been rather distinguished in House Galthain. He has both encouraged competition, recruited, and done much in the way of motivation and leadership for this house. He joined House Galthain on October 02 last year and has gone from FM to my very right hand man over the last 3 and a half months. He has unceasingly discussed the maintenance and administration of this house pointing out where my judgment is flawed and always serving to fill in places where Galthain has lacked. It is very rare to find such a long standing officer like Talon that is still motivated and energetic. With his inspiration and aboveboard command ability, I am able to say that Talon Jade has been more than just a “secondary” leader of this House. Warrior Jade has acted as an equal and as a second Quaestor of House Galthain of Satal Keto. It has been both an honor and a pleasure to serve with you.

Ghostrider Squadron:

Guardian Big Daddy will be leading this squadron after an insane and confusing objection/misunderstanding in which nothing bad really happened and everyone was really excited this afternoon on IRC last night/today with Mell Kerrigan. In any case, it’s over now and I had to make a decision. Mell will remain XO, however, BD is in the CMDR spot. Both have been chosen as vanguards for the reconstruction of Ghostrider Squadron. Both have quite a track record throughout the EH. The two FLs are Draco Caanis and Mell Kerrigan. Blade Kilraven is back in 1-3 with Delak. Ricardo is back in 1-4 with Delak and Blade. Mell and BD, you are charged with the duty of getting your squadron full and getting it online. It is a difficult task, but I have complete faith in both of you.

Again, this activity has been unheard of in House Galthain in such a short period of time. Penfold is one of Galthain’s few that fly battles and missions just for fun in their spare time. Theme Song Competition

We're going to create a Dark Jedi theme song! Yes, I know the first thing that you're going to think is "Wow, that's a bad idea." Just try it. You might actually like this. Your task is to take a song, any song, and edit the words to a more appropriate, Dark Jedi theme. If you make ones that are good enough, maybe our house leaders wouldn't mind having them as their personal theme songs ;-).

I've attached the lyrics for two songs that could potentially be good Dark Jedi themes. They are "I'm Too Sexy" and "Ladies Man". You can edit the lyrics for one of these songs, both, or find the lyrics for another song that you think would be a good candidate. Get your submissions to me by Monday the 13th. It shouldn't take you too long even if you end up editing one of the attached songs. And remember: Have fun doing this!

Basic Rules as set down by Battlelord Darkonian:

1) You may ONLY play 1vs1 (one on one) matches…

2) There is a limitation to how many times you play the same opponent. You can get NO MORE than 3 victories against one opponent. After that, you are no longer permitted to report matches against that PIN number. For example, DJK Sam plays DJK John. Sam beats John in all 3 matches. (3-0). But, when John plays ACO Blah, Blah is able to win 2 matches against John while John claims the final 3rd victory over Blah. Since one of them now have 3 victories over the other, they can no longer report matches against each other on the Ladder.

3) Failure to comply to these rules (without a REALLLLLY good reason) will result in all of your reported matches in the violated case being deleted from the Ladder.

4) The Great Jedi War has been delayed by about 3-4 weeks. It will start in roughly mid-February current estimates say.

5) A clan competition by Drako is in the works and will start/end sometime before the GJW

6) Galthain’s webpage seems like it may get a jump start in the future.

7) Expect an increase in the importance of multiplayer matches in the future.
