Alea iacta est... The die is cast.

And so we begin. Sure, Galthain could have stayed dense and full and action packed

with two squadrons. But Pyralis was seeing farther than that, and so Ghostrider

Squadron rises from the ashes. There is no turning back, for that road holds only

failure, disgrace, and shame. We march forward...

NEWS:

Ghostrider Squadron Recommissioned

GRD Big Daddy appointed CMDR

SW Mell appointed FL-XO, and will be second in command.

GRD Draco appointed FL.

DA Reinthaler joins Flight 1 and proceeds to school everybody in 1 on 1.

AED Talon Jade Steps down

Good luck to Talon in his Military training. A big thanks for the work he's

done for the house and the work he will go on to do serving our country.

ORDERS

PRIORITY 1: RECRUITING

Yep, it's my least favorite thing in the world to do. But we have no choice.

The only requirement I have is that the recruitee be able and willing to fly MP games.

I don't want to challenge someone to hear that they only fly SP, or that they

uninstalled their game or whatever. It doesn't matter if they're good or bad at it.

The good ones have things to teach us and the bad ones will improve with practice --

breathing a lot of life into the squad while they do. SP Aces are nice, but there's

very little camraderie that results from SP flying in cubicles.

I have two definites, and Draco has one definite going through the DB App

process. They've been cced. I've also been fishing among the Sith Rogue Sith APPs

using "need help training" messages with a few nibbles, but I'm not counting on

finding something there. But hey, that's how Pyralis sucked me in. If they're not

MP flyers, I'll send them over to Delphain or DDD.

PRIORITY 2: MP Ladder

There's a clan Multiplayer ladder. We need to fill it up. Seek out the people

on it on IRC and challenge them to their 3 matches. It's ok to lose; I lose at least

twice a day to Reinthaler. You WILL get better. I view the three max matches as not

being finished with someone until I've got my three with them. For instance, Pyralis

needs to stop playing TIE Fighter because he owes me two games. :)

Comp ends the day the GJW starts.

Top 3 on the ladder get some sort of crescents.

PRIORITY 3: SP Competitions

Readiness competition ends today.

Pick one of the following battles and complete it. Score doesn't matter,

this is a race and the race was won sometime last week. However, if you haven't done

one yet Pyralis still wants you to submit one by tonight to have a good idea of who's

awake and who's not.

Round 1 of the Round Robin Competition just ended. Round 2 will start soon,

but I don't know any details yet. You'll get an update as soon as I do.

PRIORITY 4: Dark Jedi Song Competition

Hunter has started a competition where you switcheroo the lyrics to your

favorite song and make it into a Dark Jedi anthem.

PRIORITY 5: General New Squad stuff

My other least favorite thing to do is make webpages. If you like doing that

kind of stuff, let me know. Mell showed me a pretty neat looking lightening page, but

my memory of that event is pretty hazy, and I don't know if it was for us or not.

Maybe it'd be nice to have a little section where we report our MP matches (Beyond the

three game limit of the clan ladders... I want to see how long Rein keeps up his

winning streak against me) Maybe we could just rob their code or something? I'll look
