Hey Aleemans...
...I don't know how busy Page still is, so I'll try to cover the most important points of the general House report as well:
DB News:
GJW is now scheduled to start in February, clans will be given one week's notice before things take off
The GM reminds everyone to follow the chain of command, that is, if you got problems with someone, contact their direct superior, not someone way up there.
Clan News:
Clan mini-comps will restart soon. They'll happen once a week, not take long, but if you participate regularly, you can earn Dark Crosses.
Nothing big otherwise and you of course know that the "Worth it?" competition is still on. So go and participate.
House news:
DJK Selket got appointed Rollmaster and is already doing quite some work.
We got a new member, NOV Thorin Oakenshield. He's quite a busy and high-up person in the Corporate Division and now aims to increase his skill in the Dark Side. Please all help train him, he's quite talented.
Not a new member, but a returning one: GRD Sayo Hirosho is back to fight with us.
As they come, they also go: We lost DJK Tatsu Kogarasu to Dominatus of Alvaak. May he find a new home there.
Medals:
CF for Selket, result of some off-color work in the Obelisk department. Well done!
DC for Dalthid for being an overall great TET
DC for Arania Lawakiro for her constant activity within the SotN Phyle.
Crescents for Kaiann (Emerald), silent (Topaz) and Maradis (Quartz) for the AoD Phyle comp.
Oh, and the almost inevitable LSS for yours truly again. 26 and counting.
So there, the bureaucracy stuff is out of the way... let's take a look into the hideout:
After a long and hard day in the Dark Hall, assisting in basic Force training of some Apprentices (one just shouldn't lose bets made with the HM), Kaiann sat down on the new furniture in the recently named hideout. Uhm... new furniture ? Several scratches and dings as well as torn fabric on the couch spoke of a major brawl or three... can't things just stay quiet for a week ? Kaiann marked down the task of fixing the damage to the furniture as one of the penalties to be given to students not paying attention. It sure beats cleaning the bathrooms, so actually... make that "not paying quite as much attention as needed".
(BTW, not all these brawls were really Aleema stuff, but they affected quite some Aleemans ven when they originated outside. Folks, keep your noses out of trouble, you'll need them for the GJW ;-) )
