House News:
**_Change of Dark Orb Tetrarch:
_**Unfortunately I have not heard from Karan for almost 2 weeks now, and rather then let the situation drag on, I have been forced to draft KAP Anshar into the position. Anshar, previously known as Khan, a past Quaestor of Qel-Droma, is a well skilled and worthy member. I am sorry that Karan has not been availble and I hope all is well, however, I am sure that with Anshar's past accomplishments, letting him lead Dark Orb Phyle is a justified decision.

Qel-Droma Mailing List:_
_I have been using the mailing list, towards the end of the week, to see what kind of competition you guys want me to run next. If I don't recieve feedback, your own thoughts abnd ideas, then I'll just launch something myself. I'd much rather hear ideas from you, run competitions you want to be involved with, and thus create a greater want for competitions and increase in participation. SO PLEASE REPLY TO MY REQUESTS!!!
Dark Brotherhood News:
**_DB Trivia At Mettings:
_**"Rapid Fire" trivia afternoon is an enhanced trivia event with somewhat offbeat questions. It features 42 questions of the type that not only require you to know the Star Wars universe and the Brotherhood but also to think a bit away from the straight path. Let's take an example:
"Rebel who could be used to qualify warmth?" - the answer is "Luke" (pun on "lukewarm").
There will be no points announced during the trivia and questions will be fired every 30 - 45 seconds, so better keep your eyes on the screen and your fingers on that keyboard of yours. It'll be fast, furious and adrenaline-enhancing.

Shadow Academy Cheating:
It's come to my attention that there may be some sharing around of answers to SA exams going on.
First off, let me point out to all of you that this is a violation of the Articles of War. If any member of the SA staff receives a test that is identical to another one, I will be sending them to the High Court of Inquisitors on charges of False Statements (AoW 407).
Don't cheat. It doesn't pay off.

**_Kill The Krath High Priest:
_**Your wonderfully handsome and insanely talented (muaha, not) KHP has performed an act(s) so horrible, so terrible, so evil that the integrity of the DB has been compromised. Tronsta must be put down, one way or another. You, the aspiring Dark Jedi, take it upon yourself to play the role of Imperial Bounty Hunter and take the criminal Tronsta down for the count. Ok, you need it spelled out? Dead.
In two to four pages, write an interesting story on 1) Why I deserve to die and 2) How you decide to kill me. This is DB-WIDE! Everyone is welcome to submit. Big props to Dalthid of CSK for the original "Kill your TET" idea. :)
Guidelines:**_
_**1) Don't kill me because I looked at you wrong at the last DB meeting. The reason should make the average evil Dark Jedi look like Barney the Purple Dinosaur if you get my drift. I did something BAD and I need to die. Make it realistic, and interesting!
2) Be realistic! I'm a Krath Epis. Don't think for one minute I'll go easy on you. I will be using every trick in the book to avoid being MURDERED :P So no DJK's or GRD's or the like walking up and slicing my head off with your saber. I'll toss it in the shredder. Write about teaming up with your Clanmates, or about tricking me into a hanger bay and flying a TIE into me, or locking me in a Rancor's den during mating season! You get the idea. :P Be realistic, and take rank into account.
3) Make it a story. Don't make it a rough outline or narrative. Originality and interesting content will win this event. Make it silly, make it gory, make it crazy.
This event will be on for 2 weeks. February 7th will be the cutoff date. Lets say you got until 11:59pm Friday night on the 7th to get this in to me. No exceptions.

Conclusion:
The Prophet of Qel-Droma competition has ended and I'm pleased with how it's went. My thanks to JaM3z for his management of the competition and to all those who took part. Perhaps we could have a follow on competition - writing about the ritual of the ring? What do you guys think about that?
The new KHP competition has ben launched and it seems really cool. I hope we can get lots of participation from the House and show to the whole DB the might of HQD's members!
