They had been flying over one of Eos’s forests for quite some time now, and came upon an unnaturally large clearing. Warlord Drako and Battlelord Darkonian were exiting a shuttle down in the clearing. Pyralis and Hawker landed opposite them in the semi-circular field.

They ducked under the transport exit and, for the first time, looked at what surrounded them. Tall stone structures randomly marked the landscape within this closed forest clearing. Towering structures of Jedi in their robes, faded from the years of erosion, watched over the lonely landscape. Pyralis took special notice of one. Darth Khyron. High Admiral, Dark Lord of the Sith, and former Grand Master. It was here that Pyralis stopped, and stared up at the great figure. His posture and significance was emphasized as he stood at the only crossing of two major limestone walkways which passed similar, but lesser figures. Khyron stared out across the forest looking towards the future - towards a future of prosperity. Pyralis looked onward and could now, for the first time on Eos, forsee this prosperity. It was what all Dark Jedi yearned for right now. To receive this vision of a future – to receive hope of better times – these were the messages the Sith Order needed to fight on.

The grounds were built with the Force. It emanated from all of the structures. But this location was unknown to most – even Pyralis who now lost himself in the features of Khyron’s face as he reached skyward to see what Khyron saw.

Drako and Darkonian looked at each other with concern. Hawker approached them with a great revered bow. His lightsaber dangled from his robes – a souvenir of the trials of a Jedi. His spirits were high, and the clan summit felt the energy of his new powers. Now, they both looked upon Pyralis and Drako spoke.

“Grand Master Khyron built this Field of Darkness, he kept it a secret to all but those of the Assembly. It is a treasure of the Brotherhood. It is a place for the highest level of meetings. A place for the rebirth of Dark Jedi. I found it fitting to discuss matters here.”

Pyralis, taken aback from his reverie, looked upon his three Brothers. “The deceit of Arcona has been revealed, my masters,” Pyralis spoke with resolution.

“ After each of our platforms had been evacuated, we formed up ready to jump into hyperspace above Desalmado. The Imperial Star Destroyer Dominance was in the lead. I was on board directing our ISD’s battle from the bridge. Battlemaster Demosthenes took up the starboard flank as we pushed into hyperspace. Suddenly, we were taken out of hyperspace. A slight separation occurred in the fleet as the Interdictor had different effects on our ships. The Dominance, still flanked by Demos’s ISD, advanced against the Pirate Consortium that lay in our path. What seemed like hundreds of fighters were already launching from their Escort Carriers, Strike Cruisers, Victory Classes, and Imperial Classes of Star Destroyers. They left and formed with extraordinary precision, calculated as if by a computer or worse: The Force... In synchronous, ominous movements, they approached the silent Brotherhood expeditionary force. We scrambled everything. The main fleet, about a klick behind us but still coming strong did the same. The barrage began. The cold calm, to a destructive rigor. Fighters didn’t stand a chance against what was thought to be simple T-Ws, cloakshapes, R-41s, Pinooks, and others. Entire Squadrons were destroyed, but the main fleet was catching up to cover our holes. But then, suddenly, Demosthenes’s ISD parted and removed himself from the flank, leaving a totally unprotected part of the Dominance open to attack. The Consortium saw it before it happened, and broke off from Arcona’s ISD to pursue the Dominance. Arcona fell backward down towards the fleet, breaking it apart in two slowly falling away a rift forming in between and then away, behind the fleet back towards the hyperspace coordinate from the main battle. The Dominance was in front, by herself. I ordered all hands to abandonship as the barrage of rockets were coming without a single support squadron there to assist. Pirates filled the holes in the fleet, pushing things apart even more. Their deadly precision reminding me of Dark Jedi. The collective consciousness worked in perfect harmony as the fleet was decimated. Capital ships were destroyed. The Dominance was nearly annihilated. I told Hawker to join me in a E/S. We fled to the hangar bay as the ISD crumbled around us. “His treachery has caused the fall of a Brotherhood, I muttered to myself in heated rage” Hawker had not seen Demos’s fatal move and gave me a queer look. We reached the hangar bay as the destroy began buckling and started up the E/S and fled the bay just as the ship had collapsed. All around us, a full retreat was in place. The pirates had singlehandedly destroyed the Brotherhood’s strongest fleet. Nearly everyone fell back to the hyperspace coordinate to regroup and analyze losses. Pirates pushed on mercilessly killing every last thing. Finally we had reached hyperspace – safety, at least for now. Demosthenes’s ISD was nowhere to be found. Arcona had disappeared from the battle entirely – but no one seemed to remember as their houses and fleets were lost.”

Hawker nodded. “It was then that we felt back to Desalmado – orders and goodbyes were given. Perhaps for the last time. A skeleton crew would be left to defend the planet. Other clans hyperspaced into different directions. A representative tactical board was selected and sent to go to Eos to debrief the Dark Council. Other clans hyperspaced into different directions. And now, we are here. The fleet has regrouped above Aurora.

Drako nodded. “The Dark Council reports that the Pirate Consortium has advanced to just outside of this sector. We must use a different strategy if we are to reign successful. An old friend of yours was picked up recently. He has relayed a plan to me that may save the Brotherhood…”

The Brotherhood has been invaded. The only path to triumph is through an alliance of the Clans. Dark Jedi shall fly besides Dark Jedi. Worshippers of the Sith shall unite in one last alliance for the preservation of our Order.

**CHANGE OF ORDERS NOTIFICATION

Transfer: Rage Squadron, SSD Avenger

Orders: Counter-attack Consortium**

Dark Jedi You have been transferred to Rage Squadron temporarily as a part of Elite Sith Forces to help in the efforts to counter recent attacks by combined mercenary forces of the Consortium. The three phase plan in which you will you participate is briefed below.

PHASE ONE (TIE Fighter)

You will fly a TIE Advanced from Rage Squadron to assist in the efforts to fend off Consortium Attacks in the Lyarna and Coronada sectors. Intelligence indicates that a small Consortium scout force is assaulting the space platforms of House Galthain and House Oriens Obscurum. You will protect evacuation efforts before the primary task force arrives to assault the region.

PHASE TWO (X-Wing vs TIE Fighter)

You will fly a TIE Advanced from Rage Squadron to escort evacuating equipment and personnel from Coronada and Lyarna. The full brunt of the Consortium has come to the sectors and is already assaulting facilities. Several Scout forces are being sent to intercept evacuating forces. Your orders are to fend off assaulting forces until the evacuation forces can hyper out of the region.

PHASE THREE (X-Wing Alliance)

The primary assault force is on the edge of the Aurora Sector preparing to assault Eos in the belief that severing the ties of the Dark Council to the Clans will allow for the Consortium to fully invade the Clan held territories. You will once again fly TIE Advanced Rage and perform a short in system hyper jump from the Avenger Task Force to the rim where the Combined forces of the Clans are blockading the Consortium Assault Force from preceding in system. Your orders are simple. Destroy the Assault force completely.

Jedi Hunter Hawker has by far been the best Aedile I have had during my time as Quaestor. Aedile for over three weeks, he MORE than proved himself in his probationary ranks as PRT and JH. His reports assisted by running of competitions by himself listing all of the specifics the house needed to know about their current assignments. He successfully found someone to create the House Galthain website (which has been done), he gave valuable advice on nearly every question I asked him, he frequently replied or sent e-mail to House Galthain as any ever present leader should do. Through all of this, he consistently led by example by himself being a true, dedicated pilot. Hawker and I make an exemplary team that is unrivaled throughout the rest of the Sith in the Brotherhood. Although he is stepping down, this promotion is not a going away present. On the contrary, I decided to promote him before I learned of the news.
