Greetings brothers and sisters

The first week of the Great Jedi Wars started. The runon as you saw was quite a chaos. There were intern and extern problems and I believe this is a point where we should work on after the GJW. As a house which was famous for its great runons we looked quite bad in the GJW runon. Though we have now a Clan based runon and it seems to get started quite nicley.

Before you intent to add any plot-changing ideas post them in the plot idea topic. :) So we can proceed fast and without editing afterwards, and without anyone being angry. Post please it is very important.

At the moment we have a taskforce, going to Eos for a guellia (sp?) fight, others can go and aid other clans in battles and negotiation, there is also a rescue-team for the Cerberus, there is of course the artefact figuring out team and many many possibilities :) read the topic and decide. But be quick :P

Gladius competition

Part 1

You are to write a poem about the halls of Gladius and the way you feel while you walk down them. It may be written in any way and you can find some great inspiration here

Part 2

This is the fun part, combat writing! That's right, I will be using the Jedi Trial message board for this. I feel it give a bit of freedom that the KCC does not. No character sheets are necessary. You may challenge anyone you wish but you have to go through a few steps.

1. Email me the name of the person you'd like to fight along with a list of weapons you'd like to bring with you. If you prefer a specific fighting place please tell me that too.

2. I email the person you'd like to fight and they either say yes or no and list the weapons they'd like to bring.

3. I set up the battle ground and let you guys have at it for 7 rounds.

Monthly topic, KCC and other DB wide comps

The KHP annonced that there wont be a KMT for February due to GJW preparations.

KCC is definatley at a stop :( but it is quite understandable.

"Kill the Krath High Priest"

Your wonderfully handsome and insanely talented (muaha, not) KHP has performed an act(s) so horrible, so terrible, so evil that the integrity of the DB has been compromised. Tronsta must be put down, one way or another. You, the aspiring Dark Jedi, take it upon yourself to play the role of Imperial Bounty Hunter and take the criminal Tronsta down for the count. Ok, you need it spelled out? Dead.

In two to four pages, write an interesting story on 1) Why I deserve to die and 2) How you decide to kill me. This is DB-WIDE! Everyone is welcome to submit. Big props to Dalthid of CSK for the original "Kill your TET" idea. :)

Guidelines:

1) Don't kill me because I looked at you wrong at the last DB meeting. The reason should make the average evil Dark Jedi look like Barney the Purple Dinosaur if you get my drift. I did something BAD and I need to die. Make it realistic, and interesting!

2) Be realistic! I'm a Krath Epis. Don't think for one minute I'll go easy on you. I will be using every trick in the book to avoid being MURDERED :P So no DJK's or GRD's or the like walking up and slicing my head off with your saber. I'll toss it in the shredder. Write about teaming up with your Clanmates, or about tricking me into a hanger bay and flying a TIE into me, or locking me in a Rancor's den during mating season! You get the idea. :P Be realistic, and take rank into account.

3) Make it a story. Don't make it a rough outline or narrative. Originality and interesting content will win this event. Make it silly, make it gory, make it crazy.

This event will be on for 2 weeks. February 7th will be the cutoff date. Lets say you got until 11:59pm Friday night on the 7th to get this in to me. No exceptions.

This edition is very long with 22 graphics, 12 poems, 11 screenshots, 22 stories, and 15 staff submissions. For a Grand Total of 82 submissions.

They also want to add new sections and would need some staff for this I guess:

COMICS – (I love comics and I am not talking stick men I need someone really creative)

INTERVIEW – (Must have some type of Chat system and be able to talk with higher ups)

GENERAL STORIES – (On large Comps. in different Clans)

REVIEWER – (Reviews Clans, Houses, about their level of fun, comps, ect)
