Greetings sisters & brothers in Darkness!

The poem is about us and our "fight".. Great Jedi War I meant ;) Ok, ok, maybe I am not the best artist of the century, but at least I hope you get what I wanted to tell by this LOL

Surprise! I brought new section to my reports.. that's why it's a bit bigger size of this report than ususal, cause.. there is a picture.. wheeeeeeee! :P See guys ? I even paint for you :P Details below :p  





I think everyone forgot about Last Man Standing competition, but I know, we have a lot to do with GJW, so I suggest move this comp in time, cause we won't be able to do everything at once. However, Alvaak Ladded is over.. so if Daniel says ok, I suggest to give one week extra for the first round, but no more. Finally House Ronin has a working homepage! I've created it in this week, hope you like it :) But there is few things to add more. Links section and so called Library. I asked you to send me over your fictions, poems, jokes, limericks, anything, but so far only my apprentice - Wisal, sent to me his fictions. If you don't want.. well less work for me :P That was a joke of course, send over your stuff !!! That's an order.

News.

1. New buddy on board! :) Warm welcome to NOV Zeth Durron, Black Omega Flight I Member. Hi there Zeth! waves

2. PRT Drake Jensen transfered to rogue due to RL matters, but hopefully he will be back as soon as he will do, what must be done in this weird dimention called reality ;)

3. Roll Master position is full-time now. So DJK Blaine is not anymore a Sentinel FM. His position is a RM.

4. SW Vargas has been awarded with the LS, for winning the trivia on #db channel after the DB meeting. Well done Var, congratulations :)

5. GRD Davi Anthol also get a new, shining medal :) The Crescent with Emerald Star, for taking 3rd place in the January COM's Judgement - JK MP-Portion. Big congrats Anth :)

6. Zeth made his first steps on the Dark Side and gathered new knowledge about Imperial and Enemy fighters by passing I:ISET & II:ESET Courses.. Really good activity as for Novice.. keep it up :)

7. Yours Aedile (me) get two new medals :P One Crescent with Amethyst Star for taking first place in our House trivia, and SI.

The things every Sith should know :P

Okay, I haven't decided yet how to call this section.. technical support, hangar, anyway this section will bring you news about figthers, capital ships, and other crafts. We are Sith - pilots. And flying is what we do.   

For the start I pick the TIE Defender. It's the fighter, that every Sith is dreaming about :P Maybe one day we will get those nice machines :) By the way have you ever think, why we.. Sith, best pilots in the galaxy have to fly in TIE Interceptors (TIE Junk I'd say :p) ? Well I've got a TIE Phantom so it's fine with me, but you guys got TIE Interceptors.. so in next week I'll bring on info about that fighters. Now, sit down comfortable, and let me tell you about this famous fighter.. TIE Defender.

The TIE Defender represents the pinnacle of Imperial Starfighter technology. It's speed, maneuverability, and sheer firepower is unmatched by any other starfighter in the galaxy. The TIE Defender is also equipped with hyperdrive and shields, making it far superior to most other Imperial Starfighters.  





The vessel represented a radical departure from conventional TIE designs and featured three sets of solar collection panels mounted at equilateral points around the fighter’s cockpit. The TIE defender, while publicly touts as a "logical advance" for Imperial fighter design, was actually a quiet admission that the Alliance’s fighter tactics had been successful. Following specific Navy directives, Sienar Fleet Systems developed a ship that was fast, heavily armed, and equipped with a hyperdrive-in other words, a ship just like the Alliance’s fighters. At over 300,000 credits per unit, it was more than five times as expensive as a standard TIE/In fighter.  


The TIE defender is one of the fastest production fighters ever used by the Empire: it’s nearly 40 percent faster at sublight than the standard TIE/In, The TIE defender still follows the basic twin ion engine model, but it uses the newest P-sz9.7 engines to generate added speed. Maneuverability has also been improved significantly through the addition of triple arrays of maneuvering jets on the triwing assembly, making the ship capable of dives and twists that would put even the remarkable agile TIE interceptor to shame.  





While the TIE defender is one of the most sophisticated fighters ever developed, its cost, combined with the upheaval that followed the death of the Emperor, prevented the fighter from ever coming into widespread use. A few of the ships were used by elite TIE fighter wings, but as a whole the TIE/In and TIE interceptor continued to dominate the Imperial fleet even after Grand Admiral Thrawn reunited the Empire’s forces against the New Republic.
