Alvaak Ladder has ended. Congratulations to winners and all who participated. The awards came yesterday so check your profiles and medal boxes.   



I'm work at new competition for House Ronin. It's call "Drops of Blood". It will take me few days more to put toether all web pages needed for that, but I recon that in next report I will have something to show you :) Anyway Drops of Blood will begin after GJW. Now that comp is where you should concentrate.  



Many promotions came in this week, but one of us just finished his training and became a Dark Jedi Knight. Congratulations DJK Marcin Szydlowski, House Ronin is proud of you.    

Which reminds me... we have our own custom Alvaakian Lightsaber. With longer than usual, purple blade. I really would to see everyone with the rank DJK and above haveing our own Clan lightsaber. At least the blade should be purple. That shows our unity, and loyalty. Contact with me, and I'll send you our custom ls picture, then you have to submit it to HRLD of the DB ( [Log in to view e-mail addresses] ). Don't forget to put in mail your dossier # and signature.

DJK Mike created a battle about Black Omega! ( BoP DB #1 ) This is first BoP DB battle in battle center. I want you all to go and fly it. Mike did awesome work with this one. It's great to see new battles and free missions about our Mighty House in EH battles compendium. Thank you Mike for your work, I hope it's not the last battle about HR you've created :) If anyone else feel like to try his abilities in missions creation, I serve with help as for BoP and XvT. We are Sith, we are responsible for new DB battles in battles center. I already created two battles about our House and now I'd like to see someone else to follow me :) So, just let me know if you want to increase your Sith skills and become a battles creator.  



Plans. First of all, the victory in GJW! :p Then I'm going to set up Drops of Blood competition. After that I want to set up a flying comp between House Ronin and some other Sith House. I have also couple of other plans, like rewrite Master/ Apprentice program and put it into web pages. Add/edit few other things.   

I'd like to get a list of plans and ideas from the RM, and all 3 CMDRs. Then I'll make a form what, who and when will do. Anything without my approval won't be set up. All you see is my denied stemp. I want to see ideas and plans, then I'll decide what and when is gonna be realise. Also, if any FM/FL has any idea for new competition, put it into mail and send it over to your CMDR and me. Don't forget to CC QUA Daniel Goad. But do not bug the Questor, he's got enough stuff to do. If you have anything new, forward it to me.

Things that Sith should know.

As I promised in last report, today I will tell you about mostly useing starfighter in the Dark Brotherhood- TIE Interceptor.

TIE Interceptor

The TIE Interceptor came into service with the Imperial Navy shortly before the Battle of Yavin, but the first widespread use was not until the Battle of Endor. Due to the technological advanced Rebel Starfighters and increased losses the designers at Sienar Fleet Systems were challenged with the duty to create a cost effective counter-weight against the Rebel X-Wing.   



The resulting design was named TIE Interceptor and features stronger engines, by far superior energy converters in it's solar panels, which both result in an overall faster speed. Two additional laser cannons provide a stronger punch while the higher maneuverability increases the chance of the pilots survival. The large fins of the solar panel were designed by Lord Vader himself to provide the pilots with the best possible view to the sides, but they still make up for some blind spots.   



Unlike virtually all other TIEs, the Interceptor wields four laser cannons. Placed at the end points of each wing, these weapons provide the pilot with a wide field of fire. The pilot is further aided by advanced targeting software. Unfortunately, these advances are small consolation when the Interceptor receives a direct hit from an enemy vessel, as the fragile starfighter lacks armor plating and shields. For this reason, Interceptor pilots must rely on their maneuverability and superior numbers during most engagements. Interceptor pilots must also wear sealed flight suits and remain within range of large capital ships or space stations.  

During the latter half of the Galactic Civil War, the Empire intended the TIE Interceptor to eventually replace the standard TIE Fighter. Yet, by the death of the Emperor at the Battle of Endor, only about 20% of Imperial fighters were Interceptors. As Imperial funds dwindled and all fighters became scarce, Grand Admiral Thrawn realized that the Empire could no longer consider the Interceptors disposable and thus began equipping the exceptional ships with deflector shields.
