Greetings Gladius!

Definately an interesting week for me, thats for sure. First off, this will be kinda a short report from my end, I have alot of stuff to do. ;P

Big news so far is DGM Mai is being HCIed again. The facts and reasons behind the case are fuzzy, so I cant give you any information other than that. But that ofcourse delays the ENTIRE DB Great Jedi War. You'd think the HCI could be alittle more sensitive to messing up an entire subgroup when they do this kinda thing. They could have waited two weeks if this needed to be done in thier eyes. :P

So that means the wargame is on hold for now if not forever. :/ I would like to thank everyone that participated in the GJW so far and especially helping me with the Wargame preperation. I really appreciate it as does QUA Telona. :)

So what does this mean? I have no clue really.. But send in your submissions cause I know they will be counted. What you work on right now, might win or loose this GJW for us, so send in some kick ass peices of work ;P

As Telona tells us, there will be a large Clan comp after this. So everyone stay loose, your writing skills will be needed again. ;P

In other News, I am now 12th in command of the entire EH! ::cackles evily:: Fear me.. >:P (see EH news below :P )

Activity

Phase two and Wargame are still ongoing. In the moment we are waiting for Turn 7, trivia and the annoncement who we are allowed to kick in MP. This turn might be delayed because of DC intern problems. But stay tuned. I am a bit concerned about the activity which seemed to have drop. THis could be because you did already all Phase two events or it could be you are last minute workes. Just bear in mind the deadline :) New activity and comps for after the GJW are already in planning.

In the moment we are waiting for the next turn. Since the DGM is occupied with the HCI and the rest of DC is going through some repositioning it might take a bit.

Wargame events are free for all orders. So if you have one of the games JK, JK2, XWA, XvT try to find someone to play, to find opponents go to the #shadowacademy channel on IRC. Put a TR in front of your nick. If you are in this channel you have to accept all challenges (of course only if you own the game).

Trivia of Wargame:

The Trivia is a very important event. Soon there will be another Trivia round available. There are always 10 questions. One round lasts mostly 2 days. So please try to get answers in. New Headmaster chosen

I expected to take some before I selected a new Headmaster but SBL Pyralis, the current Praetor to the Headmaster, expressed strong interest in the position. Considering the fantastic work he has done so far as Quaestor of House Galthain of Clan Satal Keto and that he already knows the basic duties of the Headmaster this decision is very easy for me to make.

I hereby appoint him to the position of Headmaster and I also promote him to the rank of Sith Warlord.

Recognition of the SHW and the KHP

Recently the Sith High Warrior and the Krath High Priest were promoted for both their work in the Great Jedi War and their regular duties. However I realized that what they received was largely insufficient. I consider them to be the most valuable DC members I have right now and they should be rewarded accordingly. They are now both promoted to Dark Side Adept. I have long meant to make changes in the DB and they start right here and right now. From now on, people will be rewarded according to their worth and their actions.

This relatively bemusing little rendition of the Headmaster report comes to you in this slightly altered format, due to the fact that... well, I'm Headmaster, but only for however long it takes them to remove me.

So, without further ado, this week's news!

To Be, Or Not To Be?

I suppose it's, "Not to be." I'm not staying Headmaster. I've received some very, very positive feedback on my work, and hope that the appreciation is voiced in positive manners. I don't want people mudslinging the Grand Master for his decision (although I've heard a few interesting things...).

For those who care, I'm not going to disappear into the vast depths of the unknown regions of... well, y'know. I'm not. I'm really looking forward to trying my hand at a new position, with new duties and new obstacles to tackle. This removal wasn't because I was a bad person, or a bad influence - I just wasn't doing what Firefox feels needs to be done. This, in turn, means that - unless I'm horribly mistaken - I will still be welcomed into other positions. w00t w00t!
