QUAESTOR REPORT #12 for Week Ending 28/03/2003

Dark Greetings Brethren of Qel-Droma,

House News:
NEW Member:
It is always brilliant to welcoem a new member to the House and I must say already I am extremely impressed with NOV Ralf "Griffinlion" Liorkins. he has not only joined the House, mailed me twice for information, but he has submitted for a GJW that must be extremely confusing for him! I applaud your work ethic as will many others in the House, and I am sure Dark orb phyle will be delighted to have such a positive member join their ranks.

_Qel-Droma Network Fully Operational:
_At last the Qel-Droma network is fully operational. As I told you mid-week the Qel-Droma site along with both the Dark Orb and the Prophecy Phyle sites, are "networked together"!!! Basically, any competition posted through the Phyle sites are also displayed in the Qel-Droma site. Working in the otehr direction, if House summit post news on the Qel-Droma site, then with a click of a switch it will also be displayed on both/either of the Phyle sites. Finally we have up to date reports and rosters as taken form the DJB.org databse.
JaM3z has now started working on the Galeres Network and after that we hope to do Oriens Obscurum and then have the Clan site at the top of our network heirarchy!!! This will be a first in the Brotherhood and will also provide us with the most efficient and effective set of web-sites in the Brotherhood.

_Clan Summit Removed:
_I am very sad to say that both Tarkin and Khobai have been removed from their positins as the Clan summit. OWL Mage has since been appointed as Consul and while we should support our new Consul I would ask you all to write a letter of appeal to Lord Firefox. Explain how influential and important Tarkin has been as the back-bone of Arcona. I do not see how he can be considered weak as a leader - he only recently had two of Qel-Droma's most senior members banned from the mailing list as punishment...

GJW Activity:
We have 1 day to go people then I will not be as annoying as I ahve been!!! This is the final surge forward, let's do this for Tarkin and Khobai, as on their demise they will have accomplished the greatest accolade for any Clan Summit - raising their Clan to the top. Please, I urge you all to submit ASAP and don't foget to CC JaM3z and myself. Read the KHP report down below so you can see how important it is we get loads of work in!!!

_I was snooping around #CSK the other day and the QUA there had produced a table of participation details. I will be producing and uploading one on Monday night, so you can see how well you've done, what I expect you to be rewarded with and more so...who done so little that we're gonna tie them to stake and burn their worthless corpse! Dark Brotherhood News:
_Grand Master Report:
_1) Many changes are coming to the Dark Brotherhood. I have already begun replacing some people and more will follow. I have begun discussing with some DC members the full implementation of Astatine's project Thallium. If you recall, it was something he came up with during his time as DGM. The full details will be posted soon.
2) From now on, ACTIONS will be the sole factor when considering medals and promotions. Time in rank or position is not a good basis for rewards and it will not be considered. If your actions warrant both a promotion and a medal, then you will get them now. Not some time later. This is not retroactive. If you feel that someone deserves a medal now for actions they have done and not been rewarded for, then submit a request
3) The current OHC, Obelisk Battlemaster Khaland is being removed for his inability to perform the basic duties of his position. He is not accessible enough for discussion, and has not shown the initiative that is needed to revitalize his Order. Applications are not accepted right now. But they will be very soon. If you mail me your application before I post the requirements I will delete it.
4) The Great Jedi War is about to end. Mairin will post all the details soon. Let me just say that it is time to put an end to this ill-fated competition. However, I do encourage you to put in a little bit of effort to help your Clan finish this in the best possible position.
5) Dark Adept Shadonyx has been banned from IRC by the High Court of Inquisitors pending a trial. Following this he announced his resignation as Chancellor. He stated in his letter that he had enjoyed his year as Chancellor and was proud of what he did. I wanted to promote him to the rank of Dark Jedi Master, but he recently stated that he didn't want any reward from me, so I have decided to honor his wishes. For the time being, I am acting-Chancellor. All medals requests are handled directly by me. Applications for the position are not being taken at this time.

_Additional Grand Master News:
_It's something that I've meant to do for some time but always figured I'd give them another chance. It's been pointed out to me that giving a second chance is nice, but beyond a certain point it hurts more people this way.
So, I have decided to remove from their positions Sith Warlord E. Tarkin and Obelisk Warlord Khobai Wrathraven. Consul and Proconsul of Arcona respectively. Tarkin has basically let Khobai run the Clan as he pleased and never tried to curb some of his excesses. His recent activity in the GJW was commendable, but it is too little, too late.
Khobai has been told repeatedly to stop harassing the other Clans and their members. He was also told to stop spreading false rumors and to be respectful of others and obey the CoCs and the AoWs. He chose to ignore those warnings, perhaps thinking that he was indispensable to his Clan and the Dark Brotherhood. He is not. No single member is irreplaceable. Furthermore, Khobai's recent behavior will be examined by the Security Officer for possible additional measures to be taken against Khobai.
The new Consul of Clan Arcona is Obelisk Warlord Mage, former Headmaster and former member of Clan Arcona. His first task will be to restore order to the Clan.

Krath High Priest Report:
1) Phase 2 GJW Krath submissions are due by the 31st. Honestly, it has been a weak turnout so far so get something in, every little will help your Clan.
2) Thanks again to Firefoex and Mairin for my elevation to DA. The check is in the mail. ;)

These numbers aren't as good as Phase 1, and while I've heard from people like Alex, D`hak, Kris and Kahn's excellent Phyle activity breakdowns (cheers mate!) these predicted submisisons can't be counted until they are in so please, please, PLEASE - just send them in!!!

_*Conclusion:
*_While last week I seemed exciting about the changes within the Brotherhood, this week I am severly saddened. While I have not spokento Tarkin much since I've returned as Quaestor, we know each other from my first time around in Qel-Droma and he is a sound guy, I only wish he were around more so that this might not have happened. Khobai, I consider you a good friend and thank you for all your encouragement (and all your critiscism's that force me to try and improve my work, even though I hate you when you say it!) about getting active again after I lost HM. Without you I probably wouldn't have neded up back here, in the greatest Clan the Brotherhood has seen, no matter how they try to take her down, she will always rise above the rest. glory to Arcona!!!
