Greetings all, and welcome to my first House report. I would like to take this opportunity to again thank the clan summit for giving me the chance to lead this great sith house. Unfortunately this week has been somewhat slow for us, due primarily to the change in leadership. However I have several events in development that I hope to begin early next week. The first will be MP related, but that's all I'll say for now. :) They're also be an SP event for those who can't do MP, and I have some other things that are developing in my sick, twisted excuse for a brain that you all may find fun. And don't forget the open challenges! :) Anyways, on to the report.

News:

-DJK Cray Mikalen has been promoted to Quaestor of House Galthain. Be afraid. Be very afraid. :P

-JH Liara has been named the new Sith CMDR of Delphian Squadron. I'm sure she'll do a fine job. Congrats!

-The GJW comes to a close tomorrow! This is the final day to get in any screenshots, graphics, battleplans, or evil mastermind designs!

-Several awards this week. Congrats to the following:

-Congrats to TK-2107 and Big Daddy who were both promoted to Dark Jedi Knight! These promotions were well earned. Enjoy your lightsabers, gentlemen. :)

-Congrats to GR CMDR Xura Verr who was promoted to Guardian! Enjoy your new robes! :)

Current Events:

-The GJW ends tomorrow. Today is your last chance to get in any entries. Let's see tons of last minute submissions to drive your summit crazy and to give CSK that boost to victory! :)

-Open Challenges: This week has seen the return of the Open Challenge System that existed under Pyralis. Basically you can challenge anyone in the house to a 1 vs 1 contest. The two combatants decide the terms, including the method of battle (SP flying, mp flying, fiction, graphics, html, etc) and the time limit. Remember that challenges must first be issued over the house mailing list, and the terms then discussed privately with your opponent (remember to CC me). A few things to note: You don't have to accept the challenge if you don't want to. Also, if you can't agree over terms with your opponent, the challenge may be withdrawn. Lastly, each time you win a challenge you get 1 challenge point. Five points equal a Dark Cross! I strongly encourage everyone to get involved in this. I think it will be a lot of fun.

Activity:

Due primarily to the change in leadership and the cancelation of the wargame, activity has been pretty slow this past week. Because of this little "vacation" I will be voiding the main activity listing from the report. Things have been downright busy with all the GJW events going on, so I think everyone needed a little break. I will take this time to recognize those individuals who have been working on GJW events during the past two weeks (since Pyralis became HM).

Well done to those listed above, as well as everyone who has worked hard for Galthain during the GJW. No matter how it ends, I can say that I am very proud of your service during this event.

In closing, I would like to take one last time to thank Pyralis for all of his excellent work as Quaestor of this house. Under his leadership we have become one of the most dominant sith houses in the Brotherhood. During phase 1 of the GJW, we had the highest activity percentage of any house in the Brotherhood! It is my intention to build on what he began. We have gained much, and now a new day is before us. We must work hard to seize this day as we did all the days before. In the end however, it doesn't come down to what I do, or Rein, or the CMDRs. It's up to every single member of Galthain to make sure we maintain the greatness we have achieved. It shall be you who carries Galthain into the new day. I may be the pilot, but you all are the engines. And we all know who really gets us there in the end. :)
