Quaestor Report

Okay... just so that guys won't ever notice that I try to have a rhythm in my reporting, this one's early.

First of all: That activity business...

Well... I'd like to tell all of the House to be active in a nice cool competition right now, but... ahem... I can't.

Why ?

Because only the Spirits got one going right now. Selket, this is your cue - look at what they got together and top them ;-)

Okay... now for the Spirits (summits may have some fun here, too):

This one's a four-event competition and participation (and doing well) in each of these events gives some points towards the overall score. You can do:

  • Cooperative writing in a two-person team

  • Variations over a theme (here: Romeo and Juliet)

  • KCC battles

  • Battleboats games (yes, you read right - even Krath need to learn something about warfare and tactics).

More details at http://mystics.animeworld.at/btfeud/main.html - I hope that server will come back soon :-P If not, I'm sure that Arania will mirror it on aleema.net ;-)

I can only say: Go for this one - as it involves two Phyles (this is a mini-feud against the Mystics of the Dark Arts Phyle of Gladius / Tarentum), I'll count this as a House+ comp for promo purposes. So, who wanted that extra rank ? See. Angels, go bug Selket for something similar.

There'll also be a major comp, likely involving three Clans, by yours truly, starting mid-April. I would have offered signups today but as I have no final confirmation by our CON that the other Clans do take part, I can't just yet. But it'll involve the KCC too, so better create a character there if you haven't done so already.

Medals... uhm. Yeah. Like... something that probably happened for the very first time in the DB and it happened to an Aleeman.

We all know people who get a medal. We also know those who got the highest upgrade to a medal. But, we have never seen somebody get enough copies to merit the highest upgrade WITHIN TWO MINUTES.

Enter Dark Jedi Knight silent, Aleeman extraordinaire.

He got a few Dark Side Scrolls. 21 to be exact. Yes, 21. TWENTY-ONE!!! All on April 3, between 8:11 pm and 8:12 pm European time. And he considers that just a stepping stone on his way to a hundred.

Talk about enthousiasm ;-)

Now you may be missing the name "Dalthid" here... well, he got only two entries in this Dark Voice, but BOTH got chosen as "of the month" entries - poem and story. Another strong showing for our AED. And two Dark Crosses to go with it.

Selket also shows up on the medal roster - two DSS for pretty good works, but Dalthid nabbed the "chosen"s, so out of luck with the DCs. Still nice activity and duly noted.

Oh, and of course that nice surprise I got from Drako - thanks to all who congratulated me on that thing and one more goal in a DB career accomplished. Inspiration to try for more ;-)

Zero in the promotion department... but a few crosshairs I placed on active members. Oh, and I'm waiting for the GJW results before finalizing one or the other thing.

Which also goes for your GJW participation awards - they're not forgotten, but seeing what some other Houses are giving out here, I am waiting to get all results so that I can hand out a few bigger shinies than were originally promised. So that extra week of wait will pay off. Majorly. BTW, Aleema completed 65.71% of all events it could do - that's absolutely stellar. It's rare that a House reaches 50%!

No roster changes.

But a lot of great Krath. Get to it and show that this Aleema activity thing wasn't just a fad of the GJW. Remember: 65.71% - and 100% when it comes to people doing at least something. You set the standard yourself - keep it ;-)
