As the first and second placed Houses, Ektrosis and Marka Ragnos win the artefacts that were up for grabs.
Ektrosis wins the Sword of the Avenger:
Sword of the Avenger
Appearance:
At first glance this appears to be a normal broadsword. The hilt is bound in a simple black leather, the pommel jewel a blood red ruby. Below this, the crosspiece is a scrolling piece of gleaming silver, engraved with the figures of men in postures of supplication and surrender. The blade is long and tapers to a wicked point. A blood-channel runs down the centre of the blade on each side, graven with delicate markings, all tinted with the faint colour of dried blood, indicating that it has been used in many battles.
Use:
When used by a Force-sensitive swordsman, he becomes able, no matter what his rank (although he must rank Priest/Warrior to be able to use the sword in the first place), to access the Powers of Force Harmony and Dark Jedi Battle Meditation. If he is a leader of men, this power is especially useful to him. His powers of healing are also exponentially increased. However, the Sword has a limited period of effectiveness, and after 15 minutes, the wielder is not only unable to access the powers of the Sword, but also unable to use the Force himself until he has rested for a full 24 hours. Furthermore, the powers of the Sword cannot be used by any swordsman below the rank of Priest or Warrior, and even then the effort to use the Powers through the Sword can be extremely difficult and taxing. Many have died in the attempt.
Advanced Use:
Known as the "Artefacts of Vengeance", the Sword of the Avenger and the Chalice of Vengeance have a long and bloody history as a duet. When used together, by a Force-sensitive swordsman, and a priest of equal ability, the duration of time for which the Sword's Powers are effective can be increased exponentially. The more Jedi who channel their abilities into any ritual involving the Chalice in order to increase the Sword's Power, the longer the wielder will be able to access both the Powers of the Sword and his own abilities.
Note: The Chalice of Vengeance is currently held by Acclivis Draco.
Marka Ragnos wins the Ring of Wrath:
Ring of Wrath
Appearance:
The Ring of Wrath is a simple band of red metal, carved with runes of mystic power. It is a fairly small ring, large enough to be worn on the ring-finger of a woman's hand, or the little finger of a man's hand.
One of the renowned "Sin Rings", the Ring of Wrath is part of a set of seven, which, when united, allow the user to access a wide variety of Powers associated with the Deadly Sins. In the right hands, they prove Deadly indeed.
Use:
When used by a Force sensitive of the rank Archpriest/Battlemaster or above, the Ring grants the Power of Rage, for an unlimited period. Be warned, however, that once in a state of Rage, the Jedi using the Ring will be unable to use any other Power, and some who have used it have battled until their very last drop of blood has given out, unable to access the Power to Heal.
