Dark Greetings. . .
So here it begins, Clan Report #1 of a New Tarentum. Please, everyone just take a few steps back and look at the faces you see gathered. . .many familiar, and many are glaringly absent. While we mourn the losses of many valuable members, I ask that you know those here now as your true brethren of Clan Tarentum. For we are those who have chosen to free ourselves from under the unlawful 'rule' of the Emperor's Hammer and remain together as a Clan by whatever sacrifices we individually had to make.
These decisions have proven that all of you remain to see and contribute to the Brotherhood and Clan Tarentum returned and rebuilt to the grandeur and glory we should have never ceased to be. From the deepest recesses of my heart, which binds me to Tarentum, I want to say that I thank and respect all of you for the decisions and sacrifices you have had to make to remain here with us. You will all be invaluable assets in this time of rebuilding, we are yet small. . .but we are also the heart of this glorious Clan and will endeavor on to make the spirit of Tarentum resound within our hallowed halls. (Yeah, sorry, had to throw that one in there. ;p )
So, here we are, welcome to the ground floor! What do we do first? Well, there are a couple things. I think first of all we need to figure out who and where we all are. . .and work on getting some new members, as well. I'd ask that if you remember any older Tarentum people you think might appreciate this new existence and has the time to return, you contact them and see what you can do. And then of course, we're looking for the fresh recruits, the ones we get to teach the spirit of Tarentum to and build new generations of leaders on. We don't have the EH membership to draw on anymore, so you'll have to look to friends, other similar groups...whatever you can think of -- and if anyone has some good ideas for where to look, please share so we can all start looking more effectively. =)
Also, obviously there are some leadership positions open now, and I will be handling those as quickly as possible, but please wait until I ask for applications and such so I can have some time to get things together. Don't worry, though I'll contact everyone as soon as I can in those regards.
As far as who 'we' are. . .here's a roster of the confirmed new Tarentum members so far, there are also three more to come that I know of, but because of dossier sorting and the like, they'll be here a little later. I'll let it be a surprise if you don't already know. . .just one from Cestus, an old treasure from Gladius, and then a mysterious hopeful to Gladius. :) But if we include the three coming.. that puts us at 19. Recruit. ;)

If you're on this list by mistake, just contact me and I'll get that fixed. :) Also, everyone please welcome DJK Brenn Tantor who has recently joined our ranks from Alvaak! We're sorry there were not more to remain with you in your Clan, but Tarentum welcomes you just as well. =)
It also appears that we will need to get a new Tarentum site up and running again. KE Sith Bloodfyre has offered his ideas and assistance with that, as well as registered clantarentum.net for us. If you would like to help in this as well, just contact Sithie and myself as soon as possible. =)
Annnd . . . it has been stated on djb.org that the Clans and the Dark Hall will be moved to new locations -- I hate this. . .but it's something we have to do. We can't very well remain in the EH territory if we wish to be free of them. So watch your mail, I'll probably be mailing everyone again soon with a competition to basically 'create' these planets we'll be moving to. Start pondering ideas, though.

Promotions/Medals/Joins!!
Well Rage got a medal but she is gone so it doesn't matter now.
We do have three new members in our house!!! Everyone please welcome GRD Obscurus, DJK Brenn Tantor, and Epis Sith Bloodfyre! Two are return members and one is completely new to us. Make them feel as welcome as you can!
Competitions
The BT feud is still on for those Mystics who are participating. Until a new TET is posted, send stuff to me.
Do not forget the house competition that's going on. It ends at the end of this month so send in your submissions! Details are as follows:
1. Design a creature.
While digging up an old Sith book on a planet about to be swallowed up by its sun in a few thousand years you are suddenly attacked!
What is this creature that you could not sense with your Life Sense? What is it doing on this uninhabitated planet?
Submit in .doc .rtf or .txt format with the subject 'What is that thing?!'
NOTE: Do not just make this a current Star Wars creature. It must be of your own design.
2. Design a room.
What in the world does our meeting room look like? You deside!
Submit in .doc .rtf or .txt format with the subject 'Now that's a room!'
3. Design an old book.
We talk about all these old books we read and how much information and secrets they hold but what do these books look like?
Do they smell? How do they feel? Use that wonderful imagination of yours to describe one!
Submit in .doc .rtf or .txt format with the subject 'Dang old book!'
Awards for each part will be as follows:
Sapphire Star for first
Emerald Star for second
Topaz Star for third

Clan/House News
A lot of upheavel is going on right now. Let's hope things settle down and we can get back to business. I encourage everyone to take a look at both sides and read what's going on.
Rumors have been going around about who is leaving or staying. I say let them be the ones to say they are or not. I do wish those who are leaving or gone the best of luck.
My activity online will become spotty as the last few weeks of college are coming to a close and I'm looking graduation in the face :) Plus there are now many other stresses in my life but no need to know that.

Remember that I am looking for a Trial Master to take over things for me. I included details of that in my last report so go take a look at that for those details. I still would like to hear ideas for our website and to get some graphics to put up on it. Don't everyone flood my inbox all at once now.

While driving through a tiger grotto, Willhelm and his companion parked the car, emerged from it for reasons that are unclear, and locked the doors behind them. They were set upon by three Bengal tigers lurking in the brush nearby. The big cats, two males and a female 10 to 12 years old, pounced on the unfortunate couple, breaking their necks and quickly silencing their screams.
Security guards rushed to the scene, arriving to find the woman beheaded and the man disemboweled.
