House News:
**_House Envoy Required:
_**As some of you know each House should now have it's own Envoy. This person will be responsible for working with Shadow Academy students and by helping them, hopefully bring a huge in-flux of members to House Qel-Droma. I want to be able to inform Consul Mav of my decision by Sunday night, so please get your applications in ASAP. **_Former Consul Tarkin Promoted:
_Congratulations to **Dark Adept E.Tarkin on his recent promotion!!! So many members of the Clan requested this promotion the Dark Council were powerless to deny it. As I said recently, he is one of the few members in the Brotherhood who has truly earnt his rank. To see this new Brotherhood already awarding without the interjection of politics is refreshing and satisfying. Let us hope there is much, much more to come...
**_Goodbye To The Falleen:
_**I have to say goodbye to DJK Xizor who is sticking with teh EHDB so that he can work on his beloved ECC. It has been nice to know you mate, you are commited and hard working and while we had a lot of argumnents we always patched things up. Your comments toward me and others in your mail were very kind and please know that you are always welcome back into Qel-Droma at anytime in the future.
Dark Brotherhood News:
**_Grand Master News:
_**Since I already had someone in mind for DGM, it didn't take very long. It is kinda funny to see a Grand Master as Deputy Grand Master, but he's a great guy and compensates for my weaker points. So, good luck to stup...erm to Jac as DGM!
And to replace him as Emissary, I had to choose a senior Clan Leader, someone who has been around the block a few times and knows what he's doing. So, I've given the job to Dark Adept Drako, former Consul of Clan Satal Keto. Congratulations!
**_Chancellor News:
_**The Seal of Loyalty will henceforth be awarded on April 12th, the date of the Brotherhood's independence, and October 12th, in honor of the founding of the Brotherhood. Yes, I know the Brotherhood wasn't founded on October 12th, but just play along and maybe I won't see to your late-night smothering. :P
Awards have been going through the office as normal, and they've all been very good recently. I would say I'm proud of this group for its responsible awarding, but the lack of crappy recs is honestly beginning to scare me. Someone screw up already. :P And now, for the future plans:
1) I plan to look over the DSC and possibly re-draft the "Awarded For" reasons with the awards. Some of them are kind of nebulous, and if I can make them a bit more clear, all the better.
2) We're going to need some new images for the SoL and the CoS. Send inquiries to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] if you have any ideas or would like to offer your services. You will be rewarded for your work.
3) I plan on getting very drunk this weekend, so I may not be around as much as some of you might like. If you need me, message me on AIM as Knight Camile and I'll try to deal with it in a haze. Other than that, consider this weekend as me being in a semi-away state. :P
And that's about all. This makes a month of me as Chancellor, and as of yet, nothing has been burned down. If you believe in God, now's the time to thank him. If not, worship me. You need religion. :P In closing, stay warm, stay healthy and the next person who pins the joking nickname of ^CamileGuy on me will be stripped of all awards and thrown into deep space. :P
Krath High Priest Report:
1) Ciara has agreed to stay on as my praetor, but Page is stepping down through a lack of time, so i'm taking applications for a Magistrate. I really, really need someone who can create and maintain a website. Neither me nor Ciara can do this, and i'd like to get Krath.org running again. Applications to me please within the next few days.

_**Arcona Competition:
**A New Home, A New Beginning is a chronicle of Arcona's search for a new base of operations directly after the separation from the Emperor's Hammer. The members of Clan Arcona, regardless of Order, will participate in a number of phases in which they choose the future home of the Clan. The Clan has come upon a mysterious system, and the Dark Jedi of Clan Arcona have been dispatched to investigate the new places, and report on what they find...._
Currently we are starting Phase 1...
Phase 1-Begins 4/21/03...Ends 4/28/03:
Members of Clan Arcona have been dispatched across the system to investigate the many planets in this strange place. It is the job of members, in this phase, to describe the planets they find, including any name they discover belongs to the planet.A brief description of several lines is required, however, members can take it further in whatever direction they wish, including media and further detail.
Members may submit as many planets as they wish in any format they wish; If a member so chooses they may create an entire star system of planets. However, there will be multiple winners, and a member can only win once, though each submission will be awarded based on number of planets submitted. PLEASE NOTE planets must be original creations of the member submitting them, though I'd hope that goes without saying ;) All submissions should be mailed to Consul OWL Telaris "Mav" Cantor([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) no later than 4/28/03.
A few further notes on Phase 1. First of all, images are more than welcome. However, keep in mind I do not wish to see images stolen off of any club's planetary system index. However, if you think a NASA image or something similar suits your planet, go ahead and use it. If an image is included, give me a little description of what the image is. Also, at this point, we're not looking for a great deal of fiction regarding exploring the planet. Fiction about the planet's history is good, but keep it similar to the write ups you can find at various placed on the net. Check out this one, on Raman for an idea of the type of thing I'm looking for, though yours need not be as long: http://www.starwars-rpg.net/dlos/display.php?file=stats/planets/raman.txt ... Below are a few suggest topics for your writings in the competition:
Suggested Topics- Climate, Terrain, Indigenous life forms, important cities/landmarks, government type or leanings, any sort of natural resources/raw materials.
Please note, that you don't have to be overly complex here. One sentence for each of the above topics would be fine, but you could easily take it further and include everything you can think of for the planet. More detail IS better, but so is originality. Do what you can and submit it-So long as theres effort, there will be awards given. ;)
As for awards given... every submission will receive an Amethyst Star (Cr-A) for participation, while the winners(There will be multiple winners, probably between four and six) will receive an Emerald Crescent (Cr-E). Multiple winners are necessary because the best planets will be combined to form the system that Clan Arcona has discovered.

He is so reliable that I am beginning to expect a 12 hour maximum between course submission and a graded exam. ;) Additionally, Anshar Kahn was a large contributor of analysis and basic ideas to "Project: Dark Fury - Subsection: Assignment Protocol" His feedback is always prompt, and I would consider him the most dedicated Eclectic Pedagog in service to the Shadow Academy. _**Conclusion:
**_Everything seems to be back on track this week. This House competition has ended, the Clan competition is under way and formations are taking place within projects that have been on hold. It is great to say GM Jac in as DGM, we're pretty close and he's a great guy who'll do wonders for the Brotherhood. I have to ask you all to give all you can to the Clan competition Mav is running - as it will be so important in the history of the Clan.
