Dark dudes and dudettes,

A full week in, and loads has been done. New Quaestors have been appointed to Caliburnus and Acclivis Draco, and for both it is a returning member. JKast comes back to us to pick up the reigns of HC and Corde Aghasett returns to take over the mantle of HAD. Congratulations go out to those two - I know they'll do an excellent job. On that note, Magus returns from leave and so we have a full summit again (sort of…) And, as well as getting put into the QUA position, JKast has been promoted to DJK. Drinks are definitely on him! To be a QUA he should be a rank higher than DJK, but we can't give him that much of a jump, can we! :P

I have set the two new QUA's time limit for when websites and training programs must be up, and that is in two weeks time. If you don't hear from your QUA that the new site is up then you have my permission to kiss his ass too.

IRC: should you not have an IRC program, let me know and I will tell you how to download it and install it and then run it so that you can speak to the rest of us happy little cyber-geeks. Due to Ronin decreeing that no DB members are allowed in EH channels #Scholae is now being used by us. Until I can work out how to get X in there it's just something that is created. But I am working on the X thing… Please see the MB's for the poll as to what we will be calling the channel. Even though we are not allowed in #CSP, we are to actively encourage CSP members from both sides of the split to come into #Scholae. In no ways do I want relationships to deteriorate just because Ronin doesn't want to talk to us any more.

The Message Boards are looking a little bare. Go post stuff, and annoy the rest of the DB with random bollock-talk.

Competitions:

There are a load of competitions going at the minute, so you can't complain that you have nothing to do. There is something here for each Order, but that of course doesn't mean that a Krath can't do Obbie events and vice versa. I'll be out there swinging my sabre like a lunatic if I can get online at the proper time :P I would appreciate if you would copy me in on all submissions, not so I can copy them of course, but so that I can keep a full record and begin creating a CSP library.

Independence games - VERY Important:

This series of competitions is due to begin tomorrow 4th May. Loads of competitions that are geared towards being fun, fun, fun. You three QUA's are supposed to submit one competition yourselves. The theory is each DC'er, CON, PCON, QUA and AED all submit one comp, meaning that there will be about 40 small comps in total. Not only are there individual awards, but each House and Clan get awards as well. Just because our numbers are small doesn't mean that we won't win a prize. Get to the site and see which of the comps you can take part in and go get some points for the Clan! :P

Krath Monthly Topics:

Even through they are Krath MT's, you Sithies and Obbies can do them too, and it would be good to see you do them. Fight Nights!

A series of JK competition nights have been worked out by the Shadow dude, full details on the DJB.org news page so it's easier for you to read it from there instead of my adding it here. The best way to get into a fight (apart from stealing my alcamahol supplies) is to sit in the Obelisk channel on IRC (funnily called #Obelisk) and shout at people until they fight you.

And as well as all of that…

…I'm not likely to forget the Motto competition. Come up with a Motto for CSP. How simple is that? You can submit as many different entries as you like, and I've had only four so far. Come on CSP'ers, give us something to be proud of.
