greetings every one and welcome to a new clan update,

A couple of interesting things happened this past week, starting with the activation of the project dark fury for the SA.

From now on the SA will be assigning new incoming members to the clan envoys who will be seeing them through the SA.

If we keep not getting new people then we know whose ears to pull :P

anyway we are still waiting to be handed out our first recruit!

As you might know DB members have started creating their own flying sim missions and with that comes the need for testing and bug correction. I will be the one responsible for that alongside my job here in the clan.

Two posts have been made on the news page asking for recruits who would both help in testing and/or correction for XWA/XvT/Tie also we will be testing JK/JO levels for their creators before release for every one to enjoy.

I can only ask once more if any of you would be interested in becoming part of the team.

In the search for other gaming platforms we came across the Armada2 star wars mod.

I have been testing it out those past few days and even created my first map... the challenge atm is in creating sp missions using it too, but that shouldn't be that difficult.

Atm it can be played using the maps coming along with it.

The good thing about that mod is that you can actually use it with the free downloadable Demo of armada2, so you basically download the Demo and the mod, run the mod and you already in SW universe for mp games.

Only downside is the size of the mod at about 56 megs and the demo at 86 megs. with broad band this shouldn't be a prob, if not then you can most likely find the demo on the cover cd of a games magazine or the other.. maybe you have it already even :P

All I can say is try it out I am sure it is worth the wait for the DL and you will be liking it .. oh and if you do tell me in case I want to abuse you as testers for new maps and such :P

Since the 21st of last month we have lost all contact with Galthain QUA Cray, it is unlike him to go awol or stop contact like that without any notice so we do hope every thing is ok with him.

Yet we can no longer wait so effective immediately Former AED Xura Verr has been placed as QUA of Galthain.

There will be joint training /fun sessions for like all platforms with our allies from RS and SV starting next Saturday the 17th.

You got my mail on it, go re read it and be there on Saturday! :P

Would like to say one more time congrats to Arania on her promotion to DJM. You have done well. :)

Last but not least there is a large number of competitions going around atm.

All of you are encouraged to take part in the independence game, all of the events if you are up for a challenge or only those that you think will be most fun for you.

There is also the clan competition, first event is to find names for the planets of our new home world.

A couple of comps running in kirleta for jk1/jo.

Then there are the krathy style things, like the "Exodus" competition, KMT etc, etc.

Take your pick and have fun!
