How's everyone doing? Get through exams ok or just starting? Much luck to anyone who is going through all that! I just did and after a few years, I finally have a diploma! Well, not yet. The college still has to have them printed :P Anyway, on to the news!
Promotions/Medals
Eeekk! Nothing this week within our house.
Mejas Doto was elevated to Dark Jedi Master.
Kaiann was elevated to Pontifex.
Jeff "Tiger" Loruss was elevated to Sith Warlord.
Korbane Ashoka was elevated to Krath Epis.
There are some really great reasons for these promotions so make sure you head over to the DB news page and check it out. Also, if you talk with any of these people, make sure you convey your congratulations :)

Exodus comp - Write your individual story about the split. Check out the MB for background to the split and other details (your QUAs/AEDs should also have e-mailled you with all the info). Closing date June 21st. Submit to me.
Tarentum members may write about their individual story about activity on their clan homeworld immediately following the split - about the decision to stay on their planet, the other clans coming to join them in the unknown regions, about members leaving Tarentum and returning to the EHDB. Try to stick as close to the original brief as possible.
There is also the Graphics Designer competition which ends tomorrow. More details on that, if you are interested, is in my last report and you can find that saved on the DB domain.
DB News
Arion has got krath.org up and running - good work :) It follows the same layout as the previous krath.org. We may modify it in the future, but for now it's perfectly good.
It also has a link to the krath MBs. I've started a run-on there:

Alanna
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have been given the distinct pleasure of making this announcement.
After a lot of talking and debating, the Dark Council, with the help of the Consuls, has developed the Mission and Vision of the Brotherhood. These principles will guide us through our good times and bad, and bring this club towards it's greater glory.

Please read them and think about them. The mission and vision are who we are.
Clan/House News
We have two run-ons going on the message board. One is more geared towards the Exodus comp and the other one is just for fun.
I'd like to announce our new Trial Master. Jason Hunter will now take over the Jedi Trials for me. Many congrats!
I've not gotten any applications for QUA of Gladius. Does that mean no one feels they can cut it or does that mean you don't want me to step down. I guess I don't have to if everyone is willing to put up with me being on a long LoA with a projected many shorter ones as the summer goes on. That mean's no leadership in the House for at least a month. If everyone is willing to go through that to keep me as QUA then who am I to argue. Voice your opinion or send in your application for QUA.
Brenn Tantor has left us for Alvaak. I was expecting this and wished him much luck. He goes now to rebuild his Clan as we are rebuilding ours.
Try getting some of your friends to join us! Doesn't matter if they like to fly, fight, or write. If they mention that you got them to join, you get a medal! Sounds good to me :)
Telona's Funnies
All I can say is, ouch for a split second.
Romanian Trains
2002 Darwin Award Nominee
Confirmed True by Darwin
(July 2002, Romania) Forget posted train schedules! Like an American Indian listening for horses in an old Western, a Romanian man placed his ear against the tracks to listen for the arrival of a train scheduled to stop at his station. Instead, the 46-year-old man was hit by an express train, and died instantly from head trauma.
