The final chapter of Awakenings has drawn to a close. Read on for the final section of fiction, and the results beyond that.
Wow, that was an awesome event! We had a ton of participation, and a lot of really nice writing, not to mention the interesting graphics that came out of those competitions. There were some really exciting encounters in the Joint Fiction, and the whole Runon was a blast to read. Next time, I definitely do not think I'm going to say organizers are not to post...because I really wanted to post. :P

I'd like to congratulate Atra, on his overall individual victory, but I was also very excited to see the new blood in the top five. It's great to see the newer generation of members participating and competing with the old ones. (Hint: If you're "old", you've got competition now. Step it up!)
On the overall team score, as we noted, this was calculated by dividing total number of entries per team by the number of members on that team. There's no actual award for this score, except bragging rights, pride, and a solid place in CNS' historical fiction. I'd like to congratulate Team Marcus on having the best overall team score, proving that you don't need a bunch of Elders to win, and that even a Dark Jedi Knight can make an (almost) successful move for power!
The distinguished members who carried Team Marcus to victory are:
Bentre Stahoes
Tasha'Vel Versea
Macron Goura Sadow
Daedric Turelles
I'd better watch my back...

That's a lot of rewards. Your shinies should be in the mail, if you haven't already opened them. If you have, you might not even be reading this, because everyone seems to love shiny pieces of metal…
Below, we have a graphic that illustrates the results of Awakenings, as well as some key statistics we thought might be interesting. Of special note is the total fiction word count, a whopping 76,528!
I would just like to say how much I loved running this event, and reiterate how great it was to read everyone's entries and see what you all came up with for this story. It definitely had its ups and downs, but I think it turned out awesome in the end.
But it's not just about what I think. We would like to hear from you. As such, we have a feedback form you can fill out to let us know what you thought of the event. It does contain a series of questions, but your feedback would be greatly appreciated and would really help us for future events. Thanks!
Last, but not least, I would like to thank the awesome team that put this together, including Darth Vexatus, Marcus Kiriyu, and Cethgus Tiberius Entar. I'd also like to thank Atra Ventus for the awesome banner that has been featured throughout this event as well as for creating the feedback form above, as well as Jeric Cyrin for the above information, as well as Armad for assisting with word counts for the Runon.
Finally, I want to thank all of our awesome members for making this a super exciting event!
The end, Fin!

A great event guys, it was certainly fun to be involved in the Run On. Some great character development from a lot of people. Also, I'm really sorry Tasha for abandoning you to get your brains sucked out. Honest....
Some real helpful jedi you are. Abandoning me to that horrible monster. :p
I got mentioned in the closing fiction! (0_0)... Really this was a fun bit, and I enjoyed seeing the effort and involvement of everybody in Awakenings. This makes me look forward (as with Red Fury) to the next event we have. It always seems like there is something to take away from each experience. It is more true of an event like this, but still. Next time we will have a proper show down, though, I promise Sang (and Armad. and Darkblade. and...)
I look forward to it, Bentre. :D
This thing guys... this whole event...
Well done folks! Nice to see new-blood stepping up!
