Fellow members of Clan Scholae Palatinae,

I just wanted to take some time to make you all aware of some changes that are going to be forthcoming. As many of us are aware, life can come at you pretty fast. Those changes come sometimes come on very quickly. In our case, the real life gremlin has struck both Kah'ri and Ellac.

After some lengthy discussion, we have collectively decided that both QUAs are going to be stepping down.

Fear not! We have two souls who are ready to volunteer as tribute.

Effective immediately, House Acclivis Draco will be turned over to Nefarious "Nemo" Moniker and House Caliburnus will be turned over to Vincent Brujah.

Both of these fine members have shown their capability and expressed an overwhelming passion to contribute to the continuous growth of CSP. Rayne and I are eager to see what they can bring to the team!

I'd like to end this brief announcement with some thank you's and a quick thought.

First, I would like to thank both Kah'ri and Ellac for their service over the last few months. Both have been excellent QUAs and have contributed a great deal to the Clan. They have done everything I have asked of them and more. These two young gentlemen are, in my old eyes, some future leaders of this Clan and of the Brotherhood. It has been my absolute pleasure working with them, mentoring them, and watching them grow. I would gladly take them on staff again, should the opportunity present itself.

Second, a brief thank you to both Nemo and Brujah. Thank you both for stepping up. I look forward to seeing what you bring to the table!

Finally, some thoughts. As members of the DJB, we have the great pleasure of being able to spend our spare time with our online friends. We get to be play Evil Space Wizards, Fearsome Bountyhunters, or whatever other characters our minds can dream up. That is an absolutely incredible thing. I've met many dear friends through this organization.

Over my many years, I have found my share of comfort within the Brotherhood. In my youth, I think I often used it as a bit of an escape from Real Life. I think to some extent, we all do. We are all very fortunate to have the opportunity to do so. As eager as we all are for promotions or our next medals, we ought to devote the same care and attention to our real lives. At the end of the day, we are all people behind screens. We are all people with troubles, responsibilities, and exist in an ever changing world. It's important to take care of those things too.

I just want to say, Thank you to all of you for choosing to spend your spare time with us. As a leader, I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to try and make that spare time worth spending here. I am grateful for all of you. You are a special group of people. Each and every one of you are priceless commodities and I care for each of you deeply. Thank you for being our friends.
