Good morning, Plagueis!

First of all, TuQ and I would like to thank those of you who made it to the rescheduled Skype session yesterday. We appreciate your flexibility as we navigate our own harrowing schedules! If you missed the team selection event, fret not: We recorded it! So you can see our real life mugs and watch us draw paper out of many hats.

We have created official Telegram channels for each team, and everyone should have been invited. If you did not receive a channel invitation, please let TuQ or me know, and we shall remedy it!

A few details I want to convey about the event itself, due to questions I've seen on the Plagueis Telegram:

• Code: Dread will officially begin at 8 PM EST on Sunday, September 29th, when the site resets. It will be a three-week event, seven comps per week, as well as an event-long fiction comp.
• TuQ and I will be the main judges and will not be participating in the events. However, in order to help us in our blind judging, we have recruited Atra Ventus to be a third outside judge for the sake of fairness to the teams.
• The official Code: Dread fiction - preludes and weekly chapters - will be provided on both the main DJB website and in Discourse.
• Some comps will be individual and lighter, while others will be more linked to the storyline and/or requiring a partner or team. Sometimes you may only work with your team members; other times you will need to find a rival member; other times still, you'll be working with both.
• Your contributions to the event fiction could determine the ending of the Code: Dread storyline.
• The event officially ends at 8 PM EST on Monday, October 21st, when the site resets.
