The Black Sun command ship was listing now, one engine array blinking with sporadic power losses. Where the Vindicator cruiser’s bridge had once been was now a blackened stump of twisted metal, and sporadic flashes of light from its guns blinked in uncoordinated counterattacks.

“The escorts are in full retreat,” one of the ODN Deliverance’s bridge crew reported as the Charger shook with another turbolaser strike. “One is heading away at full speed, two others are attempting to follow. They won’t survive.”

“Concentrate on the Vindicator, and then a chance to run for the escape pods, please,” Essik answered, feeling the slight tug in artificial gravity adjusting as they swept over the stricken vessel. “We want survivors. Have the fighters deal with the last escort.”

Closing Thoughts

So, that’s everything that’s been worked on for a good few months now, and we’ve been shunting it about various other events. What's next then? Well, that’s down to you lot really. I’ve always kept my door open for ideas or possible pitches, and I’d rather whatever was done next was made to appeal to all of you.
