A couple of weeks ago I engaged in discussion with house leaders and battleteam leaders about the idea of devoting some of the resources accrued during the Great Jedi War. The philosophy behind this was a new understanding of what the fleet is actually there for. We're not really fighting with it, we're writing stories about it. This investment is an investment into the story at the house and clan level as much as anything else. I hope this gives rise to new activities fleshing out the details of the ships, the NPCs running them, and also gives the BTs and houses a go-to 'place to be'. I understand the reason a lot of our military is not being used is because no-one really knows when, how, or what to use. Having sub-unit militaries simplifies this to: oh I'm on BT Krennic business, so I'm on the BT Krennic Flagship.

BTL proposals were all in the same kind of region. Negotiating to around 10-12 million credits worth of resources. With that in mind, I allocated about 10 million to BTLs to develop their own military and 25 million to each House Summit. The cheapest BT military is 10.7 million and the most expensive is 11.7. Excidium already had its own sub-flotilla, which was extended. Both houses now own about 25 million credits worth of stuff (they differ by about 0.03% in value). Complete list below.

This puts the clan 15 million in debt. So I'll need to actually sell some stuff before I make the purchases official. Most likely I'll sell some of the old corvettes, since 8 new corvettes are being purchased for sub-units, this seems like an area where we're a bit over-invested, but will talk to our resident military experts (notably Jorm, Dante and Ayden) before working out how we rework the military. Also please note that as houses and BTs don't actually have possessions, these will be owned by the clan, but slotted into a container.
