ACC Championship - Singularity Top 16

Singularity

The Singularity beckons.

Elimination Bracket Begins

The Elimination Bracket is here upon us!

I want to thank everyone who participated in this tournament up to this point. It has been a massive blast reading the matches you all cooked up, each battle better than the last. I am truly blown away by the quality of writing the last several weeks.

Thanks to our lovely Herald, Malfearak, we have a bonus award for everyone who got at least one post in during this tournament!

SingularityAccessory

A bottle of Singularity Spotchka will be available as an accessory for your dossier!

Now I was originally planning on limiting the bracket to the top 8, however, due to just how great people were doing I have expanded the elimination bracket to the top 16.

”But Idris, how were they picked?”

Good question.

Those who managed to through all three rounds, automatically advanced to the bracket, regardless of the scores they obtained. Three have decided to continue on into the bracket: Rajhin Cindertail, Marick Tyris Arconae, and Selika Roh di Plagia.

Alaisy "Aphotis" Tir'eivra also reached 3 wins in the prelims but has decided not to continue into the bracket. All four of these members did an incredible job and I want to congratulate all of them on this accomplishment!

After that, regardless of win/loss/time-out record, those with the highest point average between the three rounds were selected. Individuals with time-outs just missed extra scores to pad/tweak their averages. The members who’s scores got them to the bracket are: Diyrian "Diy" Grivna, Halcyon, Ikarri Itinen, Kamjin Lap'lamiz, Morgan B. Sorenn, Mune Cinteroph, Lucine Vasano, Aiden Lee Deshra, Sofila "Sagitta" Douve Armis, Zuza Lottson, Ruka Tenbriss Ya-ir, Stres'tron'garmis, and Alaris Jinn.

The first round of the elimination bracket can be checked out here!

bridges

This round features combat in The Jungle.

A simple design, hot, humid, muddy, and murky, the imported jungle setting has plenty of dangers to be found within its thick growth of plant life. Quicksand, sticky mud, and entangling vines all wait for the ill-prepared combatant. Yet something more causes a chill down your spine.

Within the shadows even more dangers lurk. Deadly creatures such as the Nexu, Acklay, and Gundar hide away in the lush vegetation waiting for their next meal. And even then the periodic roars and thudding ground hint that maybe something even more deadly waits in the jungle's depth.
