Life as usual carried on, hopeful and vibrant. The Praxeum was abounding with students, dedicated younglings beginning their journey along the ever-present path in The Force. This was the kind of peace that the Odanites had fought for, a peace for lost Force-sensitive children, for survivors of Galactic wars, for the outcast and downtrodden. The High Councilor mused to himself as he awaited the Councilors of Urr and the Odanite War Councilor outside of the council hall. Today was the third such meeting on the topics of succession, ascension, and the future of Odan-Urr, today being the first to include the War Councilor.

Mihoshi Yukiko Keibatsu. There was a time when that name alone would have sent a shock through the halls. To some, it still had, but her actions had spoken for her. Her name paled in comparison to her willingness to fight for her newfound peace, to keep children and innocents safe, and to prevent others from facing the same losses she had.

Of the fourteen councilors, twelve had come, excluding the High and War Councilors. Following their entrance to the chambers Masahiro closed the door quietly and turned to face the others.

Mihoshi stood in the center of the room, dwarfed by several of the Councilors as they shifted around her and made their way to their seats standing in a circle around the small woman, each eyeing her with speculation, questions, and some with understanding.

"Mihoshi— You've served the interests of Odan-Urr admirably, you've taught, sought, and fought for higher understanding and peace throughout the Galaxy, protected those unable to protect themselves, and given of yourself without request. While some have given pause because of your familial ties, you've proven that you're more than a name, you are a product of your own making." V'yr Vorsa spoke in a measured tone from behind the woman, drawing her hood back the Neti nodded her head gently toward another Councilor.

Another, Seraphol, lowered their hood.

"While Odan-Urr is no stranger to those who have wandered, we must often remind ourselves some of the best of us were blinded before we found the light. You are no different. The world you knew, and some of what you may still see, is a dark place, but you have made it your mission, perhaps your purpose, that the world the young know be brighter. A noble goal, and one we should all strive to see through."

The remaining councilors removed their hoods, except for Alethia Archenksova whose attire bore no such frippery, and stepped toward the War Councilor. Slightly overwhelmed in the moment Mihoshi turned, investigating the faces of each of the Councilors before a soft voice she immediately recognized spoke up from behind her.

"The Council has voted, Mihoshi. While you've served admirably as the hand of Empress Kaltani and my counterpart on her Royal Council as her War Councilor, your actions to advance the Clan have not gone unnoticed. From this day forward, they would have you serve as a Councilor of Urr." Masahiro spoke, placing his hand upon her shoulder and his forehead to hers. "You've earned this honor for everything you've done."

The Kyatarin woman choked up for a moment as Masahiro's forehead bumped into hers and she chuckled at his sentimentality.

"Always full of surprises, aren't you? I didn't even know you could show affection." She chirped before she stepped back and lowered her head before the Council.

"An honor, a duty, and a promise to fulfill. I'll take and discharge each faithfully."

Good evening everyone, I know my monthly report is running late, but, it's because we've got a lot going on. First and foremost among these is the exciting news of a return to glory. I'll let Tarvitz wonderfully crafted recommendation explain it all for us.

"Jack has gone by many, many names over the years, with Mihoshi Yukiko Keibatsu being his latest returning incarnation. Yet any who have been a part of Clan Odan-Urr for any significant time across the last ten years will know him well, by his qualities and achievements as much as his characters. In truth, nothing written here could fully convey all that he has done as a member of the Brotherhood. He has taken on eight students directly over the years and served as a mentor to many others. He has earned no shortage of awards to his name and has constantly both supported and hosted roleplaying sessions among our members. These are clear facts and you can see that just by glancing at his character sheet, as are the many leadership roles he has taken on over the years. But what these do not convey is someone who has always been willing to step up to lead whenever required, often without ever being asked; and someone who will forever lead from the front and not ask others to perform any task he would not do himself."

Over the last year alone Jack has been a stalwart advisor, friend, Quaestor, and now PCON, helping me rebuild and reshape Odan-Urr, and devise new systems, training programs, and engagement for the Clan. Where we are now would not have been possible without him helping me implement the projects and guiding me through the nuances of our past as we chart a path toward the future. Seeing the unanimous vote from the Councilors present to return him to the Council seemed inevitable after everything he has done for our community, and I'm glad to have been part of the process and seen him toward it.

Tonight, drinks are on you, old man!

I don't normally make comments on news items, I think that this is the first time actually. But, I just wanted to say that I'm honored to receive this once again and that my heart is too full for words. So, thank you. :)

Dust off that cane ol' fella, congrats!

A huge congrats by both Frenek and I! Thank you for all you have done to help teach us more about Odan-Urr and for welcoming us into the clan.
