A few weeks ago Jai'de came to me with concerns about how her real life was beginning to consume her. I told her to take a couple weeks to see if she could sort it, and in the end do what she thought was best for her. In essence: "do what you need to do". As always, real life comes first and that's something I can't express enough to people. As a result, in her most recently (and subsequently last) report, Jai'de will be stepping down. I can't express how grateful I am to her for all the hard work she's put in as rollmaster, and how she's influenced both our journeymen and the clan as a whole. I'm just glad she's sticking around in Plagueis as much as she can with that crazy, hectic schedule she's inherited lately!
However, as a result, I'll be opening up DJB-wide applications for Rollmaster of Clan Plagueis.
Our rollmaster is the leader of our journeymen in Plagueis: overseeing, helping, engaging, retaining, and guiding journeymen through their beginning ranks within the Brotherhood. The rollmaster is the head a specialized chain-of-command along with the battleteam leaders within that journeymen aspect much as the consul/proconsul operate in conjunction with the quaestors. You would report directly to the consul & proconsul, and the battleteam leaders would report directly to you. The rollmaster is also responsible for promoting and maintaining the Master/Student program, training the battleteam leaders, and facilitating the transfer for newly minted DJKs for knighthood and what comes with that.

Dang, the ink still wet on Jai'de resignation and already looking for replacement.
Ty Jai'de for your work.
Who writes in ink anymore? I mean I guess I get the appeal and know you weren't being literal Brim but I just imagined Jai'de with a quill and inkwell when I read that.
Brim used an old expression that most likely started from when they did have inkwells and quills!!
BTW, I still write in ink...
Wait People Don't write with Inkwells and Quills anymore?
How long was I asleep?
Rollmaster can be a fantastic chance to expand your skills and work as an important part of a team. Definitely give this a go, guys. ;)
and get you updated from inkwell and quill to ipad and tablet
A someone who served as a Clan RM for a while, I can attest to the importance of this position and the skills you learn. Plus, you'll get to work with two awesome people in Teylas and Slags.
