It’s 2:00AM. I’m tired. Here is a quick update from the Combat Master. Expect a more detailed report Soon(TM).
Today is the last day to submit to the Rivalries queue. Per the competition details: the following week, starting tomorrow, was added into Rivalies to make sure members can finish out their matches. As stated in the rules, any match that is not finished by the competition end date (09-22-2015) will be counted as a timeout for whoever's post it is. If you want to get one last match in, please submit to the queue by 06:00PM EST (I’m too tired to convert it: #deal) today (9/16/15).
With that said, I’d like to remind everyone that Rivalries is meant to be fun. Try not to be a jerk. If you’re coming down to the wire with your opponent, try your best to finish what you started. Regardless of score, it’s polite to the efforts you yourself put in and those of your opponent. Beyond that, it is also the first true test of CS 2.0 system. Myself, the Voice team and the ACC Staff are in constant communication with members through Telegram, email and newsposts and have doing our best to answer as many of your questions as we can. We are getting a live look at how members are using the new Powers, Skills, Disciplines, and more. We’ve seen the new Non Force-Users step into the ring with Force-Users and are learning new things.

Here is the latest scoreboard as of the posting of this report:
A while ago I put out a call for ACC Judge applications. While it’s taken some time, I’ve decided to hire Calindra Hejaran as our newest Judge! Calindra has been doing some great work with the ACB, and her application showed traits that I look for in an ACC Judge. She has already finished her first non-Rivalries ACC match and shadowed me on two other matches prior. I’m pleased to say that she has now received the same training all other judges have gone through. Make sure to congratulate her if you see her, and in the comments below, and remember to be patient. Judging is hard work. It takes a lot of time, and if you miss anything the writers will feel slighted.
I'm looking forward to having Calindra as a part of an already awesome team.
I’m going to be crunching numbers after Rivalries concludes. And by crunch numbers, I mean pass my data off to much smarter people, and then review the results. What I can tell you now is that Rivalries has generated 65 unique-pairing matches as of today. That’s the most ACC matches in a single place since Great Jedi War X almost 5 years ago.
I will also probably run a brief survey to see how everyone liked (or hated) Rivalries and Singular Ending matches.
Please keep in mind that the tool tip only goes so far. For your convenience, Force Powers have their own page on the wiki that explains their tooltip and adds information on duration, downtime, and the effectiveness at each point tier.
If you are curious how a power works, just ask us. The best way is through email, but more people have been PMing or bringing up questions in DB Chat on Telegram. While this is probably efficient enough as is, remember that if it’s important, email is probably the best way for us to track issues.
Also don’t forget about the bug tracker.
After some talks on Telegram, and a brainwave from Monty, we are going to be making the ACC Qualification into one single exam. The exam will feature 16 short answer/selection questions that will demonstrate your understanding of the basic rules and guidelines of how the ACC functions. The last two questions will have you (similar to the old Qualification) reading a match between two new NPCs, then writing the final post for Question 1 and writing an intro post of your own for Question 2.
The Exam revamp is about 80% complete. I should have it done in short order.
Arden and I have also started a second exam that we are going to be developing. It will focus more on what the different parts of a Character Sheet mean, and incorporate the new CS Approval Guidelines that are close to being finalized and shared with all of you.
Here is a sneak peak at Harry West (the new Anders) and Krin Murphy (the new Wesley).
Sorry for the short update. I wanted to get this information out quickly, but for anyone that has been under a rock, Destiny’s “The Taken King” expansion dropped and I’m trying to sneak in at least a few minutes of playing time with my friends. I’m also stretched helping Evant with project work and keeping up with everything on my end.
The ACC Staff has been working overtime the last few weeks, and will continue to do so for a few more to come. I’m proud to have my team, and appreciate everyone's patience with us.
Thanks. Keep the questions coming. We’re happy to answer them.

Greatly enjoying Rivalries, tough though it is! Nice update.
"That’s the most ACC matches in a single place since Great Jedi War X almost 5 years ago."
Probably in part because the current CS system and this event are freakin' awesome!
Last call?
rings bell
Awesome participation. I love it.
Congratulations (or condolences) Calindra. Hope you enjoy your new position!

Haha! The ACC team is a wonderful group, and other than Wally's dubious love of dog stickers, I think it'll be a nice challenge. ^.^
For the record, I totally wanted to particiate more in Rivalries! It is awesome!
Good stuff. Finish up those matches so we can grade them!
Welcome to the team, Calindra!
Wally, I'm noticing a decidedly Dresden-esque slant with those new characters for ACC Qualification...
Rivalries is alright though, so yay and such!
Congrats Calindra! I hope you enjoy your new role in the club!
GO TEAM BENTRE!!
Glad you noticed. ;P. I drew from familiar source, and converted it to SW/DB. It was fun making their CS's, and gave me a good perspective of designing a.) a DJK FU and b.) an EQ1 NFU. I'm happy with each character, their abilities, and the depth of their Aspects.
Wish the process would choose not only people not face, but different avenues to compete in.
I had three in a row at same location. Sick of akuls
