Spectre Cell Battleteam Leader Applications Open

Yeah, we said it in the title, but just in case you missed that, there ya go, written again for your convenience. As mentioned here, Grot will be stepping aside after a year as the Battleteam Leader for Spectre Cell to let some other ambitious soul take a whack at it. We appreciate his efforts, including those that spanned beyond his BTL duties, and appreciate his candor and honesty throughout.

That means the position of Battleteam Leader of Spectre Cell is now open. Applications should be sent as e-mail text or a PDF to me ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and the AED, Skar ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]). It is heavily suggested you do some homework on what you're getting into, so I've linked the Spectre Cell wiki article, though it has yet to be updated. I likewise recommend making sure you have a thorough app: get it proofed, hit all the points, and add some of your own flavor. If you’re looking at your first attempt at DJB leadership, that’s fine; let us know.

Required Elements

• DJB History - Tell us about your leadership experiences and stand-out project work (if any).
• Activity - What can we expect in competitions (participated & created) and communication from you?
• Strengths/Weaknesses - Be up front and tell us where you excel and where you struggle in leadership, interpersonal communication, etc.
• Plans - What, if any, ideas do you have coming into Spectre Cell? And Galeres (if you're not already here)? Give a plan of action for any you present.
• 24-hour or less communication turn-around time (Telegram and e-mail)

Desired Elements

• Shadow Academy Leadership coursework passed (or the MVL completed)
• An understanding of Markdown (the SA has a course for this too)
• Any additional credentials that support your DJB side of the application
• Any up-front questions you may have
